La vitamina C es un potente antioxidante que mejora la resistencia al estrés y los bloques de los daños causados por los radicales libres. La acumulación de radicales libres en el tiempo es responsable del proceso de envejecimiento. La vitamina C interviene en la síntesis de, el colágeno y el ácido fólico y el procolágeno el metabolismo del hierro, facilita la síntesis de hormonas esteroideas y catecolaminas. Se estabiliza la coagulación sanguínea y se mejora la permeabilidad capilar que es esencial para la hemopoyesis.
Instrucciones
Tome este medicamento exactamente como su médico se lo haya recetado. Debe seguir detenidamente todas las direcciones. Evite sobrepasar la dosis o tomar el medicamento por más tiempo de lo que fue aconsejado por su médico. La dosis estándar diaria de vitamina C para los bebés menores de 1 año es de 30-35 mg, los bebés con la edad de 1-3 años tomar 40 mg; niños entre 4-10 años tomar 45 mg al día. Usted necesitará un ajuste de dosis específico en caso de que usted está embarazada o pertenecen al grupo de los fumadores.
Precauciones
Notifique a su médico sobre cualquier otro medicamento que pueda estar tomando, además de éste. Tomando este medicamento con una cierta clase de otros medicamentos puede resultar en el aumento o disminución de los efectos o alterar en cualquiera de los fármacos. Dígale a su médico si su historia clínica incluye la enfermedad renal, cálculos renales, cirrosis hepática, la hepatitis, la glucosa-6-fosfato deshidrogenasa (G6PD). Informe a su médico si está embarazada, en lactancia o en caso de que le hayasido recetada quimioterapia, los medicamentos destinados a tratar trastornos intestinales, medicamentos antivirales, anestésicos, medicamentos contra la artritis, los antibióticos. En este caso necesita una control de dosis.
Contraindicaciones
Este producto está contraindicado en pacientes que presentan hipersensibilidad a cualquier componente de la formulación.
Posibles efectos secundarios
Una respuesta adversa a un medicamento puede implicar la hematuria (presencia de sangre en la orina), una sensación de colapso, la diarrea aguda acuosa o sanguinolenta, frecuente y dolor al orinar. Busque atención médica de emergencia en caso de que alguno de estos síntomas persisten los síntomas empeoran.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Este medicamento es capaz de interactuar con la aspirina resulta en irritación del estómago y la úlcera. La aspirina aumenta la excreción de ácido ascórbico por los riñones que pueden resultar en disminución de la concentración en sangre de ácido ascórbico. Los niveles sanguíneos de aluminio y su toxicidad puede aumentar debido al ácido ascórbico. Evite tomar medicamentos que contengan aluminio.
Dosis omitida
Si usted ha omitido una dosis, tómela tan pronto como sea posible. En caso de que sea casi la hora para la siguiente dosis, no tome la dosis olvidada y mantenga a su horario de dosificación normal. Evite compensar la dosis olvidada mediante la adopción de uno extra.
Sobredosis
Si usted sospecha que ha usado demasiado de este medicamento, busque atención médica de emergencia inmediatamente. Debe hacerlo incluso si los síntomas de malestar o intoxicación no se han indicado a la vez. Es posible que necesite atención médica urgente. Los síntomas de sobredosis incluyen trastornos del estómago (diarrea). Grandes dosis de ácido ascórbico también disminuyen la capacidad del organismo para asimilar vitamina B 12 de la comida.
Almacenaje
Guarde este producto en un recipiente hermético seco y alejado de fuentes de luz solar, el calor y la humedad. No lo guarde en el baño. Mantenga este producto fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas. No aplique los restos de la medicación después de la fecha de caducidad.
