I was just about to run out of pills and I would have had to refill my prescription at a regular pharmacy. The pills actually have the same effects as the brand name ones but at a fraction of the cost.

Propecia (Finasteride)

Propecia è un farmaco per curare la perdita dei capelli (calvizie) nell'uomo. Il suo principio attivo è la Finasteride. E' un inibitore dell'ormone androgeno usato per trattare la perdita dei capelli nel maschio. Può essere utilizzato solamente da uomini adulti.
Indicazioni
E' raccomandato consultare il proprio medico per quanto riguarda il dosaggio giusto. Prendere il farmaco con un bicchiere pieno d'acqua.
Precauzioni
Prima di iniziare il trattamento con Propecia, è consigliato avvisare il medico se si è allergici al farmaco o se si è affetti da qualsiasi altra allergia.
Controindicazioni
I pazienti che sono sensibili al farmaco e le donne non possono usare Propecia.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Vertigini,sonnolenza,insolita debolezza,disturbi del sonno,vista offuscata,naso che cola sono effetti indesiderati comuni. Effetti collaterali più gravi sono i seguenti:forti capogiri di svenimento,erezione prolungata e dolorosa. Se si verificano questi sintomi si dovrebbe smettere di prendere Propecia e chiamare subito il proprio medico.
Interazione farmacologica
Parlare con il proprio medico riguardo tutti i medicinali che si stanno prendendo al momento dell'inizio del trattamento con Propecia.
Dose mancata
Se ci si dimentica di prendere la dose,va presa il più presto possibile. Se è quasi tempo per la dose successiva,si salti la dose dimenticata e si ritorno al normale dosaggio previsto dal programma. Non prendere la dose due volte.
Sovradosaggio
Se si pensa di aver preso una dose eccessiva del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza. I sintomi di sovradosaggio sono dolore al petto,nausea,battito cardiaco irregolare e sensazione di testa leggera o svenimento.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 68-77 gradi F (20-25 gradi C°) lontano dalla luce e dall'umidità. Non riporre il farmaco in bagno. Conservare lontano dalla portata di bambini e animali domestici.
