As pastilhas de Sildenafil são equivalentes ao normal Citrato de Sildenafil. Este medicamento também é usado no tratamento dos problemas erécteis nos homens.
As pastilhas são directamente absorvidas pela corrente sanguínea, logo, é necessária uma dosagem inferior para obter os mesmos resultados.
O que devo dizer ao meu médico antes de tomar este medicamento?
Ele precisa saber se tem alguma das seguintes condições:
- problemas de visão ou oculares, incluindo doença ocular rara, hereditária, designada retinite pigmentosa
- doenças do coração, angina, problemas de tensão arterial alta ou baixa, um historial de ataque cardíaco ou outros problemas cardíacos
- doenças renais
- doenças hepáticas
- Acidente Vascular Cerebral
- reacção alérgica anormal ao sildenafil, outros medicamentos, alimentos, corantes ou conservantes
- se está grávida ou a tentar engravidar
- se está a amamentar
Como devo tomar este medicamento?
As pastilhas de Citrato de Sildenafil entram na corrente sanguínea em, aproximadamente, 15 a 20 minutos. A dose é geralmente tomada 30 a 45 minutos antes da actividade sexual. Para alguns homens, meia pastilha é suficiente para obter os resultados desejados.
Não tome mais que uma pastilha de uma vez e não mais que uma vez por dia.
Sobredosagem: Se pensa que poderá ter tomado uma dose superior ao prescrito contacte o Centro de Informação Antivenenos ou os Serviços de Urgência de imediato.
NOTA: Este medicamento é apenas para si. Não o partilhe com outros.
O que pode interferir com este medicamento?:
- cisaprida
- nitrato de meta-escopolamina
- nitratos como nitrito de amilo, dinitrato de isosorbido, mononitrato de isosorbido, nitroglicerina
- nitroprussiato
- outros produtos contendo sildenafil (Revatio, Silagra, Suhagra, etc.)
Este medicamento pode tembém interagir com os seguintes:
- alguns medicamentos para a tensão arterial
- alguns medicamentos para o tratamento da infecção por HIV ou SIDA
- alguns medicamentos para o tratamento de infecções fúngicas ou dos fenos, como fluconazol, itraconazol, cetoconazol e voriconazol
- cimetidina
- eritromicina
- rifampina

Que cuidados devo ter enquanto tomar este medicamento?
Se notar quaisquer alterações de visão ao tomar este medicamento, informe o seu médico de imediato.
Contacte imediatamente o seu médico se sentir alguma alteração de visão.
Contacte o seu médico imediatamente se a sua erecção se prolongar por mais de 4 horas ou se se tornar dolorosa. Estes podem ser sinais indicadores de um problema grave e devem ser tratados de imediato para evitar danos permanentes.
Se sentir náuseas, tonturas, dores no peito ou no braço ao iniciar a actividade sexual depois de tomar este medicamento, deve de imediato inibir-se de mais actividades e contactar de imediato o seu médico com a maior brevidade.
O uso deste medicamento não o protege, a si ou à(ao) sua(seu) companheira(o), contra infecção por HIV (o vírus que causa SIDA) ou outras doenças sexualmente transmissíveis.
Que efeitos secundários posso notar com a toma deste medicamento?
Efeitos secundários que deverá reportar ao seu médico de imediato:
- reacções alérgicas como pruridos ou comichão, urticária, inchaço da cara, lábios ou língua
- dificuldade em respirar
- alterações da audição
- alterações da visão, visão turva, dificuldade em distinguir cores, nomeadamente o azul do verde
- dores no peito
- ritmo cardíaco acelerado ou irregular
- nos homens: erecção prolongada (com uma duração superior a 4 horas) ou dolorosa
- convulsões
Efeitos secundários que normalmente não requerem atenção médica (diga ao seu médico ou profissional de saúde se persistem, ou se são incómodos):
- diarreia
- rubor
- dores de cabeça
- indigestão
- nariz entupido ou com uma descarga anormal

Onde devo guardar o meu medicamento?
Mantenha-o fora do alcance das crianças.
Guarde este medicamento em lugar seco, à temperatura ambiente entre 15 e 30 graus C (59 e 86 graus F). Deite fora medicamentos não utilizados após expirar o prazo de validade.
