Strattera (Atomoxetine)
Informazioni generali
Strattera appartiene alla classe degli inibitori selettivi della ricaptazione della noradrenalina. Il suo ingrediente attivo è atomoxetina Hcl. Di solito il medicinale è utilizzato per il trattamento del disturbo da deficit di attenzione e iperattività. Questo disturdo di solito riporta i seguenti sintomi: impulsività, disorganizzazione, mancanza di concentrazione, distraibilità, agitazione eccessiva, irrequietezza, e altri analoghi disturbi della condotta.
Indicazioni
La dose raccomandata è di 40 mg al giorno. Deve essere assunto 1-2 volte al giorno indifferentemente a stomaco pieno o vuoto.
Precauzioni
Controindicazioni
I pazienti con glaucoma ad angolo di filtrazione chiuso, ipersensibilità al farmaco o che stanno assumendo gli inibitori MAO non possono assumere Strattera.
Effetti collaterali
Gli effetti collaterali possono essere: allergia: orticaria, eruzioni cutanee, gonfiore facciale, edema, secchezza delle fauci, diminuzione dell'appetito, nausea, disturbi di stomaco, vomito, vertigini, difficoltà a urinare, stanchezza, cambiamenti di umore, effetti collaterali nell’attività sessuale, battito cardiaco irregolare ,tachicardia, difficoltà ad addormentarsi, dolore toracico, mancanza di respiro, sensazione di testa leggera o svenimento, febbre bassa, urine scure, feci di colore argilla, ittero, aumento della pressione sanguigna, diminuzione della minzione o anuria. Rivolgersi al proprio medico se si verifica uno degli effetti indesiderati sopra elencati.
Interazione farmacologica
Strattera può interagire con MAO-inibitori, Fluoxetina (Prozac), Paroxetina (Paxil), chinidina, salbutamolo (Proventil, Ventolin), Bupropione (Wellbutrin, Zyban), cimetidina (Tagamet), Amiodarone (Cordarone, Pacerone), celecoxib (Celebrex), metadone (Methadose, Dolophine), chinidina (Quinidex, Cardioquin, Quinaglute), doxorubicina (Adriamicina), ranitidina (Zantac), terbinafina (Lamisil), metoclopramide (Reglan), ritonavir (Norvir).
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose non appena possibile. Se è quasi ora della dose successiva basta saltarla e tornare al vostro programma.
Overdose
Se pensi di aver assunto un overdose del farmaco chiamare immediatamente l’assistenza medica. I sintomi di sovradosaggio sono tachicardia e la bocca secca, convulsioni, iperattività, disturbi comportamentali, sonnolenza o agitazione, disturbi di stomaco, midriasi (una eccessiva dilatazione della pupilla), visione offuscata, sonnolenza e tachicardia.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 20-25 C (68-77 F). Conservare lontano da umidità, calore e fonti luminose. Non si consiglia di conservare in bagno e in posti accessibili ai bambini.
