Non usare Thorazine, se si è allergici o se recentemente si ha avuto un attacco di cuore, se si hanno malattie al fegato o ai reni o se si ha il morbo di Parkinson. Questo farmaco può essere nocivo per il feto. Si informi il medico se si è incinta o se si sta pianificando una gravidanza durante il trattamento. Evitare di bere alcol.
Controindicazioni
Non utilizzare se si soffre di un allergia o se si assumono farmaci antiaritmici. Consultare il proprio medico o farmacista per ulteriori informazioni.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza se si manifesta uno dei seguenti sintomi di un allergia: vertigini, nervosismo, conati di vomito, cambiamenti nella capacità sessuale, erezione dolorosa, tachicardia, spasmi del corpo, impazienza, insonnia o astenia, difficoltà a urinare o urine scure, secchezza delle fauci , nausea, naso chiuso.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Informare il proprio medico se si fa un regolare uso di altri farmaci in particolare riguardo a : qualsiasi altro farmaco anti-psicotico, come i diuretici tiazidici, farmaci contro il dolore, farmaci antiaritmici, anticolinergici (atropina, ecc) o anticoagulanti (warfarin, etc), beta-bloccanti ( propranololo, ecc.) Consultare il proprio medico o farmacista per ulteriori informazioni.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere dosi extra per compensare le dosi dimenticate.
Sovradosaggio
I sintomi da sovradosaggio possono includere: convulsioni, parossismo, impazienza o spasmo muscolare. Rivolgersi immediatamente al proprio medico se si pensa di aver assunto una dose eccessiva del farmaco.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 59 -86 gradi F (15 e 30 gradi C). Conservare lontano da umidità e luce. Tenere fuori dalla portata di bambini ed animali domestici.
