Informations générales
Tizanidine est un relaxant musculaire à courte durée d'action. Il agit en bloquant l'influx nerveux qui est dirigé à votre cerveau. Le médicament est utilisé pour traiter la spasticité en assouplissant temporairement le tonus musculaire. Tizanidine peut également être utilisé pour le traitement des maux de tête.
Posologie
Il peut être pris avec ou sans nourriture, avec un verre d'eau. N’écrasez pas, ne mâchez pas ou ne cassez pas un comprimé à libération prolongée. Prenez tizanidine exactement comme il a été prescrit pour vous. Ne prenez pas le médicament en quantités plus grandes.
Précautions
Ne buvez pas d'alcool et ne fumez pas. Il faut que les personnes âgées soient prudents en prenant le médicament. Avertissez votre médecin si vous avez une maladie des reins ou du foie, ou si vous êtes enceinte.
Contre-indications
Effets secondaires possibles
Les effets secondaires sont la somnolence, une constipation, des maux de tête, des vertiges, une diarrhée. Le médicament peut aussi provoquer une réaction allergique, mais pas sérieuse. Informez votre médecin si vous ressentez l'un de ces effets.
Interaction des médicaments
Informez votre médecin de tous les médicaments sur ordonnance et en vente libre que vous utilisez. Cela comprend les vitamines, les minéraux, les produits à base de plantes. Surdosage
