Información general
Fulvicin es un medicamento antimicótico. Se utiliza para tratar infecciones micóticas de la piel, del cabello y de las uñas, que no responden a cremas o lociones. Este medicamento actúa deteniendo el crecimiento de hongos. No trata las infecciones causadas por bacterias o levaduras.
Instrucciones
Tome Fulvicin exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Tome cada dosis con un vaso lleno de agua. Su médico le puede recomendar que tome Fulvicin con una comida rica en grasas para aumentar su absorción en el organismo. La dosis se basa en su condición médica. En niños, la dosificación también dependerá del peso. La duración del tratamiento depende del tipo de infección que tenga.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Fulvicin usted debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene lupus. Evite la exposición prolongada a la luz solar. Evite las bebidas alcohólicas. La combinación de alcohol y griseofulvina puede causar enrojecimiento y un ritmo cardíaco rápido. Este medicamento puede causar mareos. No conduzca o realice tareas que requieren vigilancia. Fulvicin puede afectar el esperma y la producción de esperma.
Contraindicaciones
Usted no debe utilizar Fulvicin si usted es alérgico a ella, o si tiene porfiria, enfermedad del hígado. Informe a su médico si está embarazada o amamantando.
Los posibles efectos secundarios

Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: anticoagulantes (warfarina), las píldoras anticonceptivas, los salicilatos (aspirina, salicilato de magnesio, salicilato de colina), ciclosporina, los barbitúricos (pentobarbital, fenobarbital, butabarbital). Dosis olvidada

Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son náuseas, vómitos, diarrea, dolor de cabeza, entumecimiento, hormigueo, confusión.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 68-77 grados F (20-25 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad. No guarde los medicamentos en el cuarto de baño. Mantenga todos los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
