Ilosone (Erythromycin)

Ilosone appartiene al gruppo di farmaci chiamati antibiotici macrolidi. La formula si compone di due ingredienti molto potenti. Il primo è lo Zmax e il secondo è il Biaxin. Questo farmaco è efficace nel trattamento di diversi tipi di infezioni causate da batteri. Una gamma di patologie trattate con il seguente farmaco, copre le infezioni delle vie respiratorie superiori e inferiori come tonsillite, polmonite, malattia della legionellosi, bronchite, pertosse, sinusiti, laringiti, mal di gola, listeriosi, malattie sessualmente trasmissibili come l'uretrite nongonococcica(infiammazione della uretra) e cervicite (infiammazione del collo dell'utero), sifilide e gonorrea. L’Ilosone è indicato anche per il trattamento d’infezioni della pelle provocate da un batterio chiamato Staphylococcus aureus, che entra nella pelle attraverso ferite aperte e provoca setticemia.
Indicazioni
Precauzioni
Informare il medico se si ha mai sofferto di insufficienza epatica, ittero, o qualsiasi tipo di allergia causata da reazioni avverse al farmaco. Assumere il farmaco ripetutamente o per un periodo prolungato di tempo, può provocare una reinfezione. È necessario informare il medico se si è incinta o nel periodo di allattamento per evitare una qualsiasi problematica dovuta al farmaco sul futuro bambino. Questo farmaco può portare un potenziale pericolo perché contribuisce nella modificazione della composizione del latte materno.
Controindicazioni
È vietato l’uso del farmaco ai pazienti che soffrono di ipersensibilità a qualsiasi tipo di antibiotici macrolidi, di insufficienza epatica, malattie fungine, vaiolo o varicella. È consigliato porre estrema prudenza quando il farmaco viene assunto da bambini.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Interazioni farmacologiche
Ilosone non deve essere preso in concomitanza con i seguenti medicinali: terfenadina (Seldane, Seldane-D), astemizolo (Hismanal), cisapride (Propulsid) e pimozide (Orap). L’interazione di Ilosone con i medicinali sopra elencati può causare palpitazioni pericolose. L'elenco dei farmaci che possono interagire con Ilosone non è completa. Ci sono comunque alcuni farmaci che sono più inclini a interagire con Ilosone.
Dose mancata
Assumere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Se è quasi ora della dose successiva basta non assumerla e tornare ad assumere il farmaco come previsto. Non prendere una dose extra del medicinale per compensare la dose dimenticata.
Sovraddosaggio
Se si pensa di avere assunto un sovradosaggio del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica. I sintomi di sovradosaggio possono essere: insufficienza epatica acuta in combinazione con una perdita uditiva.
Conservazione
Il farmaco deve essere conservato a temperatura ambiente tra i 15-25 gradi °C (59-77 gradi F) lontano dalla luce e dall'umidità, bambini e animali domestici. Evitare di assumere il farmaco dopo la data di scadenza.
