Arimidex es un medicamento de venta con receta utilizado para tratar el cáncer de mama en mujeres posmenopáusicas. Reduce los niveles de estrógeno en mujeres posmenopáusicas, lo cual puede retardar el crecimiento de ciertos tipos de tumores de seno que necesitan estrógeno para crecer en el cuerpo.
Instrucciones
Tome Arimidex exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Se toma generalmente una vez al día con o sin alimentos, al mismo tiempo. La dosis recomendada de Arimidex en mujeres posmenopáusicas es de 1 mg al día. No deje de tomar el medicamento sin consultarlo antes con su médico.
Precauciones
Antes de utilizar Arimidex, dígale a su médico si usted tiene enfermedad del corazón, problemas circulatorios, antecedentes de accidente cerebrovascular o coágulo de sangre, enfermedad grave del hígado, el colesterol alto, osteoporosis. Se puede disminuir la densidad mineral ósea, lo que puede aumentar su riesgo de desarrollar osteoporosis. Puede necesitar un examen antes y durante el tratamiento con este medicamento.
Contraindicaciones
No utilice Arimidex si usted está embarazada o amamantando, alérgico al anastrozol, o la menopausia, si usted todavía no ha terminado. El medicamento no es para su uso en hombres o niños.
Los posibles efectos secundarios

Interacciones con otros medicamentos

Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son dolor de estómago, sangre en las heces, náuseas y vómitos.
Almacenamiento
