Femara (Letrozole)
Informazioni generali
Femara appartiene alla classe di sostanze anti-estrogene. Funziona abbassando i livelli di estrogeni nelle donne in postmenopausa per prevenire alcuni tipi di cancro al seno.
Indicazioni
Si consiglia di prendere la medicina come è stato prescritto dal medico. Si può prendere prima o dopo i pasti, con un bicchiere d'acqua. La dose raccomandata è di 2,5 mg una volta al giorno. Non superare la dose.
Precauzioni
Prima di iniziare il trattamento con Femara informare il medico di tutte le condizioni si può avere, soprattutto sulle malattie del fegato. Le donne in gravidanza non possono prendere il farmaco. Usato efficacemente come metodo di controllo delle nascite.
Controindicazioni
Le donne in gravidanza non possono prendere Femara.
Possibili effetti indesiderati
Gli effetti collaterali possono essere i seguenti: orticaria, eruzioni cutanee, difficoltà respiratorie, gonfiore del viso e anche caldo lampeggia, cefalea, sudorazione notturna, dolori muscolari o articolari, stanchezza, sensazione di debolezza, aumento di peso, nausea, gonfiore alle estremità. Se si verifica uno qualsiasi degli effetti indesiderati sopra elencati contattare il medico.
Interazione farmacologica
Informare il medico di tutti i medicinali che si assumono. Femara interagisce con tamoxifene, letrozolo, i farmaci metabolizzati dagli isoenzimi del citocromo P450 (2A6 e 2S19).
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose non appena possibile. Se è quasi ora della dose successiva basta saltare e tornare al vostro programma.
Sovradosaggio
Se pensi di aver assunto un overdose del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d’ emergenza.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 20-25 C (68-77 F), lontano da umidità, calore e luce solare. Non si consiglia di conservare in un bagno e posti accessibili ai bambini.
