El Baclofeno es un medicamento recetado para el tratamiento de las siguientes condiciones: calambres musculares, rigidez, espasmos de los músculos esqueléticos, clonus muscular, lesión de la médula espinal. Su mecanismo consiste en la relajación muscular esquelético.
Instrucciones
Se recomienda tomar el medicamento como se lo indique su médico.Tómelo con un vaso grande de agua. La dosis inicial recomendada es de 5 mg 3 veces al día. No exceda la dosis recomendada.
Precauciones
Antes de comenzar el tratamiento informe a su médico si usted tiene las siguientes condiciones: enfermedad renal, diabetes, convulsiones, accidentes cerebrovasculares, la alergia al baclofeno, a otros medicamentos, alimentos, colorantes o conservadores, o si usted está embarazada o amamantando.
Contraindicaciones
Los pacientes con enfermedad del riñón, epilepsia u otros coágulos de epilepsia, apoplejías o la sangre, la alergia al Baclofen no deben tomar el medicamento.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Los efectos secundarios pueden ser los siguientes: reacciones alérgicas:erupción cutánea, picazón o urticarias, hinchazón de la cara, labios o lengua, dolor en el pecho, estreñimiento, baja presión arterial, alucinaciones, vómitos, depresión respiratoria, dificultad para dormir, y el aumento de orina la frecuencia o la incautación de retención urinaria,. Si usted experimenta alguno de los efectos secundarios mencionados anteriormente, póngase en contacto con su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Hable con su médico sobre todos los medicamentos que puede tomar. Baclofen interactúa con los siguientes medicamentos: antihistamínicos,medicamentos para la depresión, la ansiedad y otros trastornos mentales, la codeína, la oxicodona, tramadol y propoxifeno, medicamentos para dormir, el fenobarbital.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. Si es casi la hora de la nueva ingesta, omítala y vuelva a su horario.No tome dosis adicionales o dobles.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina, debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 15 y 30 grados C (59 y 86 grados F). Mantenga el recipiente bien cerrado y fuera de los niños.
