Il peut également être utilisé pour soulager les démangeaisons. Il agit en réduisant l'inflammation ou l'enflure de la peau.
Posologie
Précautions
Avertissez votre médecin ou votre pharmacien si vous êtes enceinte ou allaitez, prenez des médicaments sur ordonnance ou sans ordonnance, des produits à base de plantes, si vous avez une infection de la peau, la rougeole, l'amincissement de la peau, la tuberculose, les allergies aux médicaments, aux aliments ou aux autres substances. Les enfants peuvent être plus susceptibles aux effets secondaires. Ne faites pas de vaccin vivant (par exemple, la rougeole, les oreillons) pendant que vous prenez Aristocort. Aristocort peut affecter le taux de sucre sanguin chez les patients diabétiques. Vérifiez bien votre taux du sucre dans le sang.
Contre-indications
N’utilisez pas Aristocort si vous êtes allergique à un de ses ingrédients, si vous avez une infection cutanée provoquée par des virus, la tuberculose de la peau, des lésions cutanées non traitées et infectées dûes aux infections par des champignons ou des bactéries.
Effets secondaires possibles
Consultez un médecin immédiatement si l'un de ces effets secondaires se manifeste: des maux de tête, une éruption cutanée, l’urticaire, des changements dans l'appétit, des démangeaisons, une difficulté à respirer, une vision floue, des rougeurs, des changements d'humeur ou mentaux, une faiblesse musculaire, des changements dans le cycle menstruel, des ballonnements d'estomac, un gonflement de la peau, une augmentation de la température corporelle, une fatigue, des nausées, des troubles de vision.
Interaction des médicaments
Informez votre médecin de tous les médicaments sur ordonnance, en vente libre et des herbes médicinales que vous prenez. Aristocort peut interagir avec d'autres médicaments topiques qui contiennent des corticostéroïdes ou qui ont des effets irritants.
Omission de dose
Si vous manquez une dose, prenez-la dès que possible et reprenez votre horraire régulier. Sautez la dose oubliée s'il est temps pour votre prochaine dose. Ne prenez pas de doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Si vous pensez que vous avez une surdose du médicament, cherchez de l’aide médicale d'urgence immédiatement.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à la température ambiante entre 68-77 degrés F (20-25 degrés C) à l’abri de la lumière et de l'humidité. Conservez tous les médicaments hors de portée des enfants et des animaux domestiques.
