Astelin è uno spray nasale antistaminico. E 'usato per alleviare i sintomi nasali come il naso che cola / prurito al naso / naso chiuso, starnuti, e post-gocciolamento nasale causata da allergie stagionali e ad altre condizioni allergiche. Funziona bloccando certe sostanze naturali chiamate istamine che sono responsabili dei sintomi allergici.
Indicazioni
Assumere Astelin esattamente come prescritto dal medico. La dose raccomandata per il trattamento delle allergie nasali (conosciuta come rinite allergica) negli adulti e nei bambini in età di 12 anni è di una o due erogazioni in ciascuna narice due volte al giorno. Per il trattamento della rinite vasomotoria Utilizzare 2 spruzzi in ciascuna narice due volte al giorno.
Precauzioni
Controindicazioni
Non assumere Astelin se siete allergici a qualsiasi antistaminico ed in caso di gravidanza o d'allattamento.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza se si hanno:gonfiore, vertigini, eruzioni cutanee, difficoltà respiratorie, prurito, sonnolenza, cefalea, visione offuscata, dolore oculare, dolori muscolari, sangue nelle urine, mal di gola, aumento di peso, nausea, sangue dal naso. Se si notano altri effetti non elencati sopra, contattare il medico.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Si informi il medico circa tutti i farmaci in uso, in particolare riguardo a:antistaminici (difenidramina), medicinali per il sonno (zolpidem), farmaci psichiatrici (clorpromazina, amitriptilina), antidolorifici (codeina), ansiolitici (diazepam), anti-sequestro farmaci (fenobarbital), miorilassanti, tranquillanti. Si noti inoltre che l'interazione fra due farmaci non necessariamente deve portare ad una sospensione dell'utilizzo di uno dei due farmaci. Si informi il medico circa tutti i farmaci in uso compresi i farmaci da prescrizione,quelli da banco e prodotti erboristici.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere dosi extra per compensare le dosi dimenticate.
Sovradosaggio
Se si pensa di aver assunto una dose eccessiva del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza. I sintomi da sovradosaggio sono:convulsioni, diminuzione del tono muscolare, salivazione.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 68-77 gradi F (20-25 ° C) lontano dalla luce e dall'umidità. Non conservare Astelin in bagno. Conservare il farmaco lontano dalla portata dei bambini e degli animali domestici.
