Flonase è un farmaco che contiene fluticasone corticosteroide. Questo farmaco mpedisce il rilascio di sostanze nel corpo che causano stati di infiammazione. Flonase è utilizzato per trattare sintomi nasali come congestione nasale, starnuti e naso che cola causati da allergie stagionali o permanenti, asma, eczema, psoriasi.
Indicazioni
Usare Flonase esattamente come gli è stato prescritto dal medico. Non utilizzare il farmaco in quantità maggiori o per un periodo più lungo di quello raccomandato dal medico. Flonase si può trovare sotto forma di spray nasale, farmaco da inalazione o da aerosol e come polvere da inalare.
Precauzioni
Fare molta attenzione nell'usare Flonase se avete problemi alla ghiandola surrenale. Evitare di usare il farmaco se si soffre di tubercolosi polmonare. Flonase può abbassare il numero delle cellule del sangue che aiutano a combattere le infezioni . Evitare di stare vicino alle persone malate o infette . Chiamare il medico per un trattamento preventivo se si è esposti alla varicella o al morbillo. Nelle persone che utilizzano Flonase le condizioni appena elencate possono essere gravi o addirittura mortali . Usare Flonase spray nasale ad intervalli regolari.
Controindicazioni
Le persone che soffrono di allergia, acne, dermatiti, scabbia, lesioni cutanee provocate da batteri o da cause virali e fungine,le donne in gravidanza o con bambini con età inferiore ad 1 anno ed i bambini al di sotto dei 4 anni d'età non possono utilizzare il farmaco.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza se si dispone di :orticaria, gonfiore del viso, sangue dal naso, piaghe nel naso c allergie, febbre, brividi, sintomi influenzali, nausea o conati di vomito.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Prima di iniziare il trattamento con Flonase informare il medico se si utilizzano uno dei seguenti farmaci: prednisone e desametasone, alcuni farmaci antifungini quali ketoconazolo o farmaci per l'HIV come ritonavir.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere dosi extra per compensare le dosi dimenticate.
Sovradosaggio
Se si pensa di aver assunto una dose eccessiva del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza. I sintomi da sovradosaggio possono includere: sindrome di Cushing con aumento di peso.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente lontano da umidità e luce. Tenere fuori dalla portata di bambini ed animali domestici.
