Instrucciones

Precauciones
El medicamento puede causar diarrea. Si tiene diarrea aguada o con sangre, deje de tomar el medicamento y consulte a su médico.
Contraindicaciones
Los pacientes que están tomando pimozida o cisapride, los pacientes con hipersensibilidad a la eritromicina y las mujeres embarazadas o lactantes no pueden tomar el medicamento. Los pacientes con enfermedad del hígado o miastenia gravis pueden necesitar una prueba especial para ajuste de dosis.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Los efectos secundarios pueden ser los siguientes: urticaria, dificultad para respirar, hinchazón de la cara, labios, lengua o garganta, dolor de pecho, latidos cardíacos irregulares, sensación de mareo o desmayo, náuseas, dolor de estómago, fiebre baja, perdida del apetito, orina oscura, heces de color arcilla, ictericia (coloración amarillenta de la piel o los ojos), diarrea, mareos, dolor de cabeza, sensación de picazón cansado, o flujo vaginal, picazón leve o sarpullido en la piel. Si usted experimentaalguno de los efectos secundarios mencionados anteriormente en contacto con su médico de inmediato.
Interacción con otros medicamentos
La eritromicina puede interactuar con muchos medicamentos. Antes de comenzar el tratamiento informe a su médico sobre todos los medicamentos que está tomando, especialmente acerca de los minerales, vitaminas, medicamentos prescritos por otros médicos.
Dosis olvidada
