Il aide à éliminer les symptômes des infections des voies urinaires tels que des brûlures, des douleurs, des mictions fréquentes et une envie constante d'uriner.
Posologie
Prenez le médicament exactement comme prescrit par votre médecin. Ne prenez pas en quantités plus grandes ou plus petites ou plus longtemps que recommandé. Suivez les instructions de votre prescription sur l’étiquette. Le dosage normal est une gélule de 100 mg prise toutes les 12 heures pendant sept jours. Prenez chaque dose avec repas et un verre plein d'eau.
Précautions
Avant de prendre Macrobid, avisez votre médecin si vous avez une maladie rénale, l’anémie, le diabète, un déséquilibre électrolytique ou une carence en vitamine B, un déficit enzymatique génétique ou tout autre type de maladie débilitante. Cessez de prendre ce médicament et appelez votre médecin immédiatement si vous avez la diarrhée.
Contre-indications
Vous ne devriez pas prendre Macrobid si vous êtes allergique à la nitrofurantoïne, ou si vous avez une maladie des reins, des antécédents de problèmes de foie, une jaunisse ou si vous êtes dans les dernières semaines de grossesse. Evitez de l'utiliser pour les enfants de moins de 12 ans.
Effets secondaires possibles
Ce sont l’urticaire, des difficultés respiratoires, un gonflement, une diarrhée, un essoufflement, un souffle court, une soudaine douleur thoracique ou des malaises, des vertiges, une fièvre, des selles couleur d'argile, la jaunisse. Consultez votre médecin pour un avis médical sur les effets secondaires.
Interactions des médicaments
Omission de dose
Sautez la dose oubliée s'il est temps pour votre prochaine dose. Ne prenez pas de doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Une surdose peut provoquer des nausées ou des vomissements. Informez-en immédiatement votre médecin.
Conservation
