Maxaquin es un antibiótico de fluoroquinolonas de amplio espectro . Instrucciones
Tome este medicamento exactamente como su médico se lo haya recetado. Determinar la dosis adecuada que se adapte mejor a su condición. Usted debe seguir cuidadosamente todas las instrucciones dadas a usted. Evitar sobrepasar la dosis o tomar el medicamento por más tiempo de lo que fue aconsejado por su médico. Tome este medicamento con un vaso lleno de agua. Se puede tomarlo simultáneamente con los alimentos.
Precauciones

Posibles efectos secundarios
En general, las fluoroquinolonas son bien tolerados. Los efectos secundarios más comunes y leves incluyen náuseas, vómitos, diarrea, dolor abdominal. Los efectos secundarios más graves que son menos comunes pueden incluir migrañas agudas, mareos, fototoxicidad, convulsiones, reacciones alérgicas tales como urticaria, picazón, urticaria, dificultad para respirar, hinchazón de la cara, la lengua o los labios o el estrechamiento de la garganta, dolor de pecho, alucinaciones , confusión mental, dolor articular o muscular, ictericia (color amarillento de los ojos o la piel), sensación de cansancio inusual, el sistema nervioso central (SNC) la toxicidad, la cardiotoxicidad, artropatía, y la toxicidad del tendón, hormigueo o entumecimiento en las manos o los pies , sangre en las heces, sensación de quemazón, ampollas. Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Este medicamento puede interactuar con una clase de medicamentos utilizados como antipsicóticos antidopaminérgicos como Droperidol (Droleptan, Dridol, Inapsine, Xomolix, Innovar, la combinación con fentanilo). Maxaquin también puede disminuir la eficacia de la vacuna contra la fiebre tifoidea en vivo. En caso de que se tratan con antiácidos que contengan aluminio, calcio o magnesio; didanosina, sales de hierro o sales de zinc no debe haber un intervalo de 2 horas antes de tomar Maxaquin o deben pasar 4 horas y luego se puede aplicar Maxaquin.
Dosis omitida
En caso de haber perdido a tomar una dosis de este medicamento, tómelo tan pronto como sea posible. Si ya está supuesta a tomar la siguiente dosis, no tome la dosis que olvidó y mantenga a su horario de dosificación normal. No tome dos dosis de inmediato.
Sobredosis
Si usted sospecha que ha usado demasiado de este medicamento, busque atención médica de emergencia inmediatamente. Haga esto aun cuando no hay signos de malestar o intoxicación. Es posible que necesite atención médica urgente.
Almacenaje
Este medicamento se almacena en un lugar fresco y seco a temperatura entre 15-25 C (59-77 F), lejos de fuentes de luz del sol, el calor y la humedad. No guarde este medicamento en el baño. Mantenga este producto fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
