Noroxin (Norfloxacin)
Informazioni generali
Noroxin appartiene ad un gruppo di antibiotici chiamari fluorochinolonici. Il farmaco combatte i batteri presenri nel corpo. Noroxin viene somministrato per trattare le infezioni batteriche della prostata e delle vie urinarie e anche la gonorrea. Il farmaco è attivo per 12 ore.
Indicazioni
Assumere Noroxin esattamente come gli è stato prescritto dal medico. Prendere Noroxin con un bicchiere pieno d'acqua (8 once). Bere una grande quantità di liquidi ogni giorno per prevenire la formazione di cristalli nelle urine. Prendere Noroxin a stomaco vuoto 1 ora prima o 2 ore dopo aver mangiato un pasto, bere latte o mangiare latticini come lo yogurt. Per la cura delle infezioni del tratto urinario il dosaggio è di 400 mg due volte al giorno durante un periodo di 7-10 giorni. Per curare la cistite il trattamento deve continuare a 3-7 giorni e per il tratto urinario il dosaggio va continuato fino a 12 settimane. Per la prostatite la dose giornaliera necessaria è di 800 mg, suddivisi in 2 dosi da assumere per quattro settimane. La corretta dose singola per curare la gonorrea è di 800 mg al giorno.
Precauzioni
Non dovreste usare Noroxin se in passato avete avuto problemi renali ed epatici. Evitare l'esposizione ai raggi solari o a lampade abbronzanti. Non bere alcolici. Noroxin può causare vertigini e sonnolenza, che possono compromettere il vostro pensiero o le vostre reazioni. Occorre perciò fare molta attenzione se si guida o se si fa qualcosa che richiede grande attenzione.
Controindicazioni
Se si soffre di reazione allergica, arteriosclerosi cerebrale, epilessia, miastenia grave, malattie renali o del fegato non utilizzare il farmaco. Anche le donne in gravidanza ed i bambini al di sotto dei 18 anni d'età non devono assumere Noroxin.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Noroxin può causare astenia, cefalea, sonnolenza, vertigini, vomito, mal di pancia, tremore, sensibilità sole, convulsioni, alterazioni psichiche, gravi reazioni cutanee, problemi agli occhi, perdita di appetito, urine scure, ingiallimento della pelle, perdita di movimento nelle articolazioni, diarrea, dolore nella parte superiore dello stomaco, feci di colore argilla, allergie o sanguinamento vaginale. Chiamare il proprio medico per un consiglio medico circa gli effetti collaterali.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Informare il proprio medico circa tutti i medicinali in uso, in particolare riguardo a: anticoagulanti, ciclosporina, teofillina, gliburide, nitrofurantoina, probenecid,farmaci non-steroidei anti-infiammatori e farmaci steroidei. Stare molto attenti in quanto l'interazione tra farmaci può rendere più forti gli effetti della malattia.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere dosi extra per compensare le dosi dimenticate.
Sovradosaggio
Se si pensa di aver assunto una dose eccessiva del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza. I sintomi da sovradosaggio sono:insonnia, vertigini,debolezza o conati di vomito.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente. Conservare lontano da umidità e luce. Tenere il flacone ben chiuso quando non in uso.
