Cefdinir é um antibiótico cefalosporino. Trata vários tipos de infecções incluindo as da pele, do trato respiratório, dos seios nasais, dos ouvidos, e do trato urinário.
O que devo dizer ao meu médico antes de tomar este medicamento?
Ele precisa de saber se tem alguma destas condições:
- problemas hemorrágicos
- doenças hepáticas
- problemas de estômago ou intestinos (especialmente colite)
- alguma reacção alérgica ou pouco habitual ao Cefdinir, ou a outro antibiótico cefalosporino, penicilina, penicilamina, outros alimentos, corantes ou conservantes
- estar grávida ou a tentar engravidar
- estar a amamentar
Como devo tomar este medicamento?
Tome este medicamento por via oral. Engula-o com um copo de água. Pode toma-lo com ou sem comer. Se perturbar o seu estômago pode ajudar toma-lo com comer. Tome a dose com intervalos regulares. Não tome com menor intervalo que o recomendado. Pare de tomar o medicamento prescrito quando achar que a infecção está melhor.
Fale com o seu pediatra quanto à utilização deste medicamento em crianças. Cuidados especiais podem ser necessários.
Sobredosagem: Se pensa que poderá ter tomado uma dose superior ao prescrito contacte o Centro de Informação Antivenenos ou os Serviços de Urgência de imediato.
NOTA: Este medicamento é apenas para si. Não o partilhe com outros.
Que fazer se falhei uma toma?
Se falhar uma dose, tome-a assim que puder. Se for quase tempo de tomar a próxima dose, tome só essa dose. Não tome a dobrar nem doses extra. As doses devem ter um intervalo de pelo menos 4 a 6 horas entre elas.
O que pode interferir com este medicamento?
- antiácidos que contenham alumínio ou magnésio
- suplementos de ferro
- outros antibióticos
- probenecida

Onde devo guardar o meu medicamento?
Mantenha-o fora do alcance das crianças.
Mantenha num local em que a temperatura seja entre os 15 e os 30 graus C (59 e 86 graus F). Mande fora o medicamento quando expirar a validade.
