Como tomar este medicamento?
Tome este medicamento por via oral com um copo de água. Tome-o durante a refeição. Tome o seu medicamento em intervalos regulares. Não tomar o medicamento mais vezes do que o prescrito. Tome o medicamento como lhe foi receitado mesmo que pense estar melhor. Não saltar doses ou acabar de tomar o medicamento antes do previsto.
Fale com o seu pediatra quanto à utilização deste medicamento em crianças. Cuidados especiais podem ser necessários.
Sobredosagem: Se pensa que poderá ter tomado uma dose superior ao prescrito contacte o Centro de Informação Antivenenos ou os Serviços de Urgência de imediato.

Que fazer se falhei uma toma?
Se se esquecer de uma dose, tome-a o mais rapidamente possível. Se for quase altura da sua próxima dose, use apenas essa. Não redobre a dose ou use doses extra. Deve haver um intervalo de pelo menos 12 horas entre as doses.
O que pode interferir com este medicamento?
- antiácidos
- diuréticos
- medicamentos para a acidez do estômago ou úlcera como cimetidina, famotidina, lansoprazol, nizatidine, omeprazol, ranitidina
- probenecida
- bicarbonato de sódio
Indique ao seu médico todos os medicamentos, ervas, medicamentos de venda livre, ou suplementos alimentares que usa. Diga-lhe também se fuma, se bebe, ou usa drogas ilegais. Onde devo guardar o meu medicamento?
Mantenha-o fora do alcance das crianças.
Guardar os grânulos secos para suspensão a uma temperatura entre os 15 e 30 graus C (59 e 86 graus F). Depois da mistura, guardar num frigorífico entre os 2 e os 8 graus C (36 e 46 graus F); não congelar. Deitar fora qualquer porção que não tenha sido usada após 14 dias.
