Informations générales
Zyvox est un antibiotique qui combat les bactéries dans le corps et contient du linézolide. Il est utilisé pour traiter des différents types d'infections bactériennes, telles que la pneumonie, les infections cutanées et les infections qui sont résistantes aux autres antibiotiques.
Posologie
Utilisez Zyvox conformément aux prescriptions de votre médecin. Utilisez-le avec ou sans repas à 12 heures d'intervalle. Vos symptômes peuvent s'améliorer avant que l'infection soit complètement traitée, mais ne cessez pas de le prendre. Si vous ne vous sentez pas mieux dans 10 jours, consultez votre médecin en conséquence.
Précautions
Avisez votre médecin si votre traitement dure plus de 28 jours et si vous sentez des vertiges, une fatigue, une température basse, des battements cardiaques irréguliers, des problèmes respiratoires, une somnolence, des maux d’estomac, des problèmes avec les yeux, des changements dans vos sentiments. Aussi, si vous prenez des antidépresseurs ISRS, vous pouvez sentir la somnolence, l’euphorie, des vertiges, la transpiration, la fièvre. N’utilisez pas de la nourriture avec un taux élevé de tyramine. Evitez d'utiliser le médicament si vous êtes enceinte, si vous avez une allergie, des troubles du sang ou des infections chroniques.

N’utilisez pas le médicament si vous avez une réaction allergique aux composants.
Effets secondaires possibles
Zyvox peut provoquer la diarrhée, les maux de tête, un écoeurement, des nausées, une somnolence, une éruption, des saignements, des difficultés à voir des couleurs ou des démangeaisons. Consultez votre médecin pour un avis médical sur les effets secondaires.
Interaction des médicaments
Ne commencez pas et ne cessez pas d'utiliser tous les autres médicaments pendant votre traitement avec Zyvox, sauf si votre médecin vous les a prescrit. Informez votre médecin de tous les médicaments que vous utilisez, surtout l’apraclonidine, la brimonidine, la buspirone, la bethanidine, le bupropion, la carbamazépine, l'entacapone, le dextrométhorphane, les produits à base de plantes, la papavérine, la mépéridine, la sibutramine, les antidépresseurs ISRS, le tolcapone, des sympathomimétiques, les antidépresseurs tricycliques, d'autres médicaments pour la chimiothérapie du cancer, des inhibiteurs de la MAO, des produits contre la toux et le rhume ou des médicaments pour amaigrir.
Omission de dose
Sautez la dose oubliée s'il est temps pour votre prochaine dose. Ne prenez pas de doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Cherchez de l’aide médicale d'urgence si vous pensez que vous avez utilisé trop de médicament.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à température ambiante entre 20-25 C (68-77 F).
