Informations générales
Celexa est un inhibiteur sélectif de la recapture de la sérotonine (ISRS). Il est prescrit pour le traitement de la dépression majeure associée à des troubles de l'humeur, de la dysmorphophobie et de l'anxiété.
Posologie
Il est recommandé de prendre le médicament suivant la prescription de votre médecin. Prenez-le avec un grand verre d'eau. Vous pouvez le prendre à jeun ou avec nourriture. N’excédez pas la dose prescrite.
Précautions
Contre-indications
Les femmes enceintes et celles en période d’allaitement et les patients présentant une hypersensibilité au Celexa ne devraient pas utiliser ce médicament.
Effets secondaires possibles
Les effets secondaires peuvent être les suivants: pouls rapide et irrégulier, tremblements, anxiété, vision brouillée, vomissements, fièvre et diarrhée. Des effets secondaires graves sont rares.
Interaction des médicaments
Celexa peut avoir une interaction avec les médicaments suivants: inhibiteurs de la MAO (Furazolidone, Isocarboxazide, linézolide, Moclobémide de tranylcypromine), médicaments anti-arythmiques (propafénone, quinidine), inhibiteurs de recapture de la sérotonine-noradrénaline (desvenlafaxine, duloxétine, Milnacipram, venlafaxine), antipsychotiques, antagonistes des récepteurs à l'histamine de type 2 (cimétidine, ranitidine, famotidine, la nizatidine).
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose omise dès que possible. S'il est presque l’heure de la prochaine prise, il suffit de sauter la dose omise et de revenir à votre horaire de prise habituel.
Surdosage
Si vous pensez avoir pris une surdose du médicament, demandez une aide médicale d'urgence immediatement. Les symptômes de surdosage sont des douleurs thoraciques, des nausées, des battements cardiaques irréguliers, et une sensation de tête légère ou l’évanouissement.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à la température ambiante entre 68-77 °F (20-25 °C) à l’abri de la lumière et de l'humidité. Conservez tous les médicaments hors de portée des enfants et des animaux.
