Informations générales
Lexapro est un inhibiteur sélectif de la recapture de la sérotonine (ISRS). Il peut être prescrit pour le traitement des cas suivant une dépression majeure associée à des troubles de l'humeur, la dysmorphophobie et l'anxiété.
Posologie

Précautions
Contre-indications
Les femmes enceintes et celles en état d’allaitement au sein et les patients présentant une hypersensibilité au Lexapro ne doivent pas l'utiliser.
Effets secondaires possibles
Les effets secondaires peuvent être les suivants: diarrhée, pouls rapide et irrégulier, tremblements, anxiété, vision brouillée, vomissements, fièvre, etc.
Interaction des médicaments
Lexapro peut avoir une interaction avec les médicaments suivants: inhibiteurs de la MAO (Furazolidone, Isocarboxazide, linézolide, Moclobémide de tranylcypromine), médicaments anti-arythmiques (propafénone, quinidine), inhibiteurs de recapture de la sérotonine-noradrénaline (desvenlafaxine, duloxétine, Milnacipram, venlafaxine), antagonistes des récepteurs à l'histamine de type 2 (cimétidine, ranitidine, famotidine, la nizatidine).
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose omise dès que possible. S'il est presque l’heure de la prochaine prise, il suffit de sauter la dose omise et de revenir à votre horaire de prise habituel.
Surdosage
Si vous pensez avoir pris une surdose de ce médicament, demandez une aide médicale d'urgence immédiatement. Les symptômes de surdosage sont des douleurs thoraciques, des nausées, des battements cardiaques irréguliers, et une sensation de tête légère ou d’évanouissement.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à la température ambiante entre 68-77 °F (20-25 °C) à l’abri de la lumière et de l'humidité. Gardez tous les médicaments hors de portée des enfants et des animaux.
