Wellbutrin est utilisé pour traiter le trouble dépressif majeur et le trouble affectif saisonnier. Il est utilisé pour aider les gens à arrêter de fumer en réduisant les envies irrésistibles et d'autres effets de sevrage.
Posologie
Votre médecin peut parfois modifier votre dose pour optimiser les résultats du traitement. Wellbutrin peut être pris avec ou sans nourriture. Ne pas écraser, mâcher ou casser un comprimé à libération prolongée. Avalez-le en entier. Ne cessez pas de prendre ce médicament sans en parler d'abord à votre médecin. Vous pouvez avoir des effets secondaires indésirables si vous cessez de prendre ce médicament brusquement.
Précautions
Avant d'utiliser le bupropion, avisez votre médecin si vous avez des allergies, des problèmes des yeux, des problèmes du foie ou des reins, la grossesse. Les personnes âgées peuvent être plus sensibles aux effets secondaires du médicament. Wellbutrin peut provoquer des saisies chez les personnes qui boivent beaucoup d'alcool et qui fument.
Contre-indications
Évitez de prendre le médicament si vous avez une hypersensibilité au bupropion. Les femmes enceintes et les enfants ne peuvent pas prendre le médicament.
Effets secondaires possibles
Interaction des médicaments
Informez votre médecin de tous les autres médicaments que vous utilisez notamment antipsychotiques, inhibiteurs de la MAO, furazolidone, tranylcypromine, linézolide, antiarythmiques et inhibiteurs sélectifs de la recapture de la sérotonine (ISRS).
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose oubliée dès que possible. Sautez-la s'il est temps pour votre prochaine dose. Ne prenez pas de doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Si vous pensez que vous avez une surdose du médicament cherchez immédiatement des soins médicaux d'urgence. Une surdose peut provoquer des douleurs thoraciques, un écoeurement, un battement de coeur rapide et des vertiges.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à température ambiante entre 68-77 degrés F (20-25 degrés C). Conservez-le à l'écart de l'humidité et de la lumière. Gardez-le hors de portée des enfants et loin des animaux domestiques.
