CETOCONAZOL é um antifúngico. É usado no tratamento de infecções causadas por fungos na pele e no corpo.
O que devo dizer ao meu médico antes de tomar este medicamento?
Ele precisa de saber se tem alguma destas condições:
- problema de alcoolismo
- baixa produção de ácido estomacal
- doença hepática
- reacção alérgica ao cetoconazol, itraconazol, miconazol, outros medicamentos, alimentos, corantes ou conservantes
- se está grávida ou a tentar engravidar
- se está a amamentar
Como devo tomar este medicamento?
Tome este medicamento por via oral com um copo cheio de água. Este medicamento funciona melhor se o tomar com alimentos. Tome o medicamento em intervalos regulares. Não tome o medicamento mais do que indicado. Não pare de o tomar, excepto por indicações do seu médico.
Fale com o seu pediatra quanto à utilização deste medicamento em crianças. Cuidados especiais podem ser necessários.
Sobredosagem: Se pensa que poderá ter tomado uma dose superior ao prescrito contacte o Centro de Informação Antivenenos ou os Serviços de Urgência de imediato.
NOTA: Este medicamento é apenas para si. Não o partilhe com outros.
Que fazer se falhei uma toma?
Se falhou uma toma, tome-a o mais cedo possível. Se estiver quase na hora de tomar a próxima dose, tome apenas essa. Não tome doses duplas ou doses extra.
O que pode interferir com este medicamento?
Não tome este medicamento com nenhum dos seguintes:
- alfuzosina
- cisaprida
- conivaptan
- dofetilida
- eplerenona
- ergotamina, didroergotamina ou metisergida
- medicamentos para o colesterol elevado como atorvastatina
- nevirapina
- pimozida
- quinidina
- sirolimus
- alguns medicamentos para a ansiedade ou dificuldade para dormir como alprazolam, midazolam ou triazolam
- levedura de arroz vermelho
Este medicamento pode também interagir com os seguintes:
- atropina e medicamentos afins como hiosciamina, escopolamina, tolterodina e outros
- ciclosporina
- digoxina
- hormonas como cortisona ou metilprednisolona
- medicamentos para os diabetes

- tacrolimus

Pode ficar sonolento ou ter tonturas. Não conduza, utilize máquinas ou faça qualquer coisa que necessite de atenção até saber como é que este medicamento o afecta. Não se sente nem se levante rapidamente, especialmente se for um paciente mais velho. Isto reduz o risco de tonturas ou desmaios. O álcool pode interferir com o efeito deste medicamento. Evite bebidas alcoólicas.
Que efeitos secundários posso notar com a toma deste medicamento?
Efeitos secundários que deve reportar ao seu médico de imediato:
- reacções alérgicas como erupções cutâneas, comichão ou urticária, inchaço da face, lábios ou língua
- urina escura
- sentir tonturas, desmaios
- febre
- batimentos cardíacos irregulares, dor no peito
- fezes esbranquiçadas
- perda de apetite
- frequentemente cansado ou fraco
- amarelecimento dos olhos ou da pele
Efeitos secundários que normalmente não requerem atenção médica (diga ao seu médico ou profissional de saúde se persistem, ou se são incómodos):
- inchaço da mama e sensibilidade
- alteração no desempenho sexual
- olhos mais sensíveis à luz
- enxaqueca
- náuseas, vómitos
- dor de estômago

Onde devo guardar o meu medicamento?
Mantenha-o fora do alcance das crianças.
