Sporanox (Itraconazole)

Informations générales

Sporanox appartient à la famille des médicaments appelés antifongiques. Il est utilisé pour traiter certains types d'infections fongiques internes (à l'intérieur du corps) aussi que externes (la peau et des ongles): des infections telles que la blastomycose, qui infecte les poumons, les os et la peau, l'histoplasmose, qui affecte les poumons, le cœur, et le sang, et l’aspergillose qui affecte les poumons et les reins et parfois d'autres organes différents. Ce sont des affections très graves qui nécessitent un traitement rapide et précis. Il agit en empêchant le champignon de se développer.

Posologie

Prenez Sporanox conformément aux prescriptions de votre médecin. La dose recommandée d'itraconazole pour les adultes varie de 100 mg une fois par jour après un repas à 200 mg deux fois par jour après le repas. La durée du traitement dépend de l'affection traitée. Les comprimés d'itraconazole doivent être pris immédiatement après un repas complet. Le jus de pamplemousse peut réduire l'efficacité de l'itraconazole.

Précautions

Avant de prendre Sporanox veuillez aviser votre médecin si vous avez une maladie cardiaque, un trouble du rythme cardiaque, des problèmes de circulation, une maladie pulmonaire obstructive chronique (MPOC) ou d'autres troubles respiratoires, une maladie du foie ou des reins, la mucoviscidose ou le syndrome du QT long, si vous prenz la quinidine, le cisapride, le midazolam, le pimozide, l’ergonovine, l’ergotamine, la dofétilide. Ils peuvent provoquer des problèmes médicaux graves ou mettre la vie en danger si vous les prenez en association avec l'itraconazole.

Contre-indications

Ne prenez pas Sporanox si vous êtes allergique à l'itraconazole, à l'un des ingrédients du médicament, aux autres «azoles» tels que le kétoconazole, si vous avez une insuffisance cardiaque (y compris l'insuffisance cardiaque congestive), si vous êtes enceinte ou allaitez.

Effets secondaires possibles

Obtenez de l'aide médicale d'urgence si vous avez des maux de tête, des démangeaisons, une constipation, des vomissements, une diarrhée, des nausées, des vertiges, des douleurs à l'estomac, une somnolence, des saignements inhabituels, des éruptions cutanées, des urines foncées, une fièvre, une perte d'appétit, de l'urticaire, des difficultés respiratoires, un gonflement de votre visage , des lèvres, de la langue, des selles pâles, une fatigue inhabituelle, des maux de gorge, une faiblesse, un écoulement nasal, la jaunisse (jaunissement de la peau ou des yeux). Si vous remarquez d'autres effets non énumérés ci-dessus, consultez votre médecin.

Interaction des médicaments

Informez votre médecin de tous les autres médicaments que vous utilisez, notamment: des médicaments antiépileptiques (primidone, oxcarbazépine, phénytoïne), les sédatifs (diazépam, alprazolam), des antibiotiques (clarithromycine, érythromycine, télithromycine), les antidépresseurs (sertraline, néfazodone, paroxétine), le disopyramide, la cyclosporine , des médicaments anticancéreux, des anticoagulants (warfarine), des médicaments contre le VIH / SIDA (delavirdine, saquinavir, ritonavir, indinavir, atazanavir), les barbituriques (phénobarbital, mephobarbital, amobarbital), le sirolimus, le fentanyl, la digoxine, des médicaments contre les troubles du coeur ou de la pression artérielle (nifédipine, vérapamil , amlodipine), les médicaments antifongiques (kétoconazole, voriconazole, clotrimazole). L'interaction entre deux médicaments ne signifie pas toujours que vous devez cesser de prendre l'un d'eux. Avisez votre médecin ou le prescripteur de tous les médicaments sur ordonnance, en vente libre et des herbes médicinales que vous prenez.

Omission de dose

Prenez la dose oubliée dès que possible. Sautez-la s'il est temps pour votre prochaine dose. Ne prenez pas de doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.

Surdosage

Si vous pensez que vous avez une surdose du médicament, cherchez de l'aide médicale d'urgence immédiatement.

Conservation

Conservez le médicament à la température ambiante entre 59-77 degrés F (15-25 degrés C) à l’abri de la chaleur, de la lumière et de l'humidité. Conservez tous les médicaments hors de portée des enfants et des animaux domestiques.
