Epivir Hbv (Lamivudine)
Información general
Epivir HBV pertenece a una clase de fármacos conocidos como inhibidores de la transcriptasa inversa de nucleósidos (NRTI). Instrucciones
Tomar Epivir HBV exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Tome este medicamento por vía oral con o sin alimentos, generalmente una vez al día. La dosis recomendada para el tratamiento de la hepatitis B en adultos es de 100 mg una vez al día. Para niños de 2 a 17 años, la dosificación se basa en el peso, aproximadamente 3 mg por kilogramo una vez al día (hasta un máximo de 100 mg por día). Una dosis más baja puede ser recomendado para personas con problemas renales. Tomar Epivir HBV, al mismo tiempo cada día para mantener un nivel uniforme de la medicina en su sangre.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Epivir HBV debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene la infección por VIH, inflamación del páncreas (pancreatitis), enfermedad del hígado, insuficiencia hepática, cirrosis, hepatitis, enfermedades renales, insuficiencia renal, trastornos de la sangre, cualquier alergia. Este medicamento puede causar mareos. No conduzca o realice tareas que requieran estar alerta. Evite el consumo de las bebidas alcohólicas. El alcohol puede aumentar el riesgo de problemas hepáticos o pancreatitis. Dígale a su médico si está embarazada o dando de lactar. Los niños, especialmente aquellos con pancreatitis, pueden ser más sensibles a los efectos de este fármaco.
Contraindicaciones
Usted no debe tomar Epivir HBV si usted es alérgico a éste, lamivudina, o cualquiera de los componentes inactivos de la medicación.
Posibles efectos secundarios
Busque atención médica de emergencia si usted tiene dolor de cabeza, mareos, náuseas, diarrea, dificultad para dormir, sueños extraños, depresión, entumecimiento de manos o pies, debilidad muscular, dolor de estómago o de espalda, sangrado, ritmo cardíaco acelerado, piel pálida, hinchazón de la cara, lengua, la garganta, dificultad para respirar, urticaria, ictericia (coloración amarillenta de la piel o los ojos), orina oscura, pérdida del apetito, fiebre, escalofríos, dolor de cuerpo, dolor en las articulaciones. Si usted nota otros efectos no mencionados anteriormente, póngase en contacto con su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: medicamentos para el VIH (ritonavir, indinavir, atazanavir, delavirdina), el interferón, la ribavirina, zalcitabina, emtricitabina, trimetoprim. La interacción entre dos medicaciones no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dígale a su médico sobre todos los medicamentos, sin receta médica, y los medicamentos a base de hierbas que esté tomando.
Dosis omitida
Tome la dosis que olvidó tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Los síntomas de sobredosis son desconocidos. Si usted piensa que ha tomado mucho de la medicina busque ayuda médica de emergencia a la vez.
Almacenaje
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 59-77 grados F (15-25 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad. No guarde los medicamentos en el cuarto de baño. Mantenga todos los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
