Valtrex es un medicamento antiviral que se receta para tratar ciertos tipos de virus y los brotes causados por infecciones virales. El más conocido de estos brotes virales se llama herpes, incluyendo herpes y drogas sores. Esta droga ayuda sólo a prevenir los brotes y disminuir estos síntomas.
Instrucciones
Se recomienda tomar este medicamento sólo como se lo ha recetado su médico, que le ayudará a conseguir mejores resultados. Usted debe comenzar el tratamiento con las primeras manifestaciones de los síntomas. Tómelo con o sin alimentos cada 8 horas (3 veces al día) durante una semana. Si usted tiene los síntomas del herpes genética, tiene que tomar el medicamento dos veces al día durante 5 días. Si usted tiene los síntomas del herpes labial, toma sólo un día.
Precauciones
No lo use si usted tiene los problemas con el sistema imuno, enfermedad avanzada por VIH o ha tenido una transplantación de la médula ósea o de riñón. Tome la medicina como se lo indique y disminuiya el riesgo de infección de su pareja. No tome este medicamento si está embarazada.
Contraindicaciones
Los pacientes con reacciones alérgicas y la enfermedad renal no pueden utilizar este medicamento.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Valtrex, como la mayoría de los medicamentos recetados, puede causar efectos secundarios que van desde los muy graves, como insuficiencia renal, convulsiones y coma, a leves, como dolor de estómago dolor de cabeza y ligeros mareos. Algunos otros efectos secundarios posibles incluyen la depresión, vómitos, alucinaciones, movimientos temblorosos, comportamiento agresivo y problemas para hablar correctamente.También puede incluir cualquier reacción alérgica. Dosis olvidada

Sobredosis

Almacenamiento
