Theo-24 Cr es un medicamento oral utilizado para causar la dilatación de los bronquios mediante la relajación del músculo bronquial. Es un potente broncodilatador eficaz contra enfermedades pulmonares obstructivas crónicas, como asma, enfisema pulmonar y la bronquitis. La teofilina es similar a la cafeína y ayuda a relajar el músculo liso bronquial, promueve la contractilidad del músculo cardíaco y la eficiencia, sino que modifica la fuerza / velocidad de la contracción de los músculos, aumenta la frecuencia cardiaca, presión arterial y el flujo sanguíneo renal.
Instrucciones
Tome este medicamento exactamente como su médico se lo haya recetado. Usted debe seguir cuidadosamente todas las direcciones. Evite exceder la dosis o tomar el medicamento por más tiempo de lo que se aconseja. Este medicamento no se mastica, no se aplasta o se rompe, la pastilla debe tragarse entera con un vaso lleno de agua o leche. La dosis recomendada para adultos cubre un 150 miligramos de pastillas que se toman cada 12 horas. La dosis máxima tolerada es de 600 miligramos tomadas por día. Precauciones

Siga las instrucciones de su médico acerca del tipo y la cantidad de líquidos, alimentos, suplementos alimenticios y otros medicamentos que están autorizados a tomar. No utilice este medicamento después de la fecha de caducidad.
Contraindicaciones
Este medicamento está contraindicado en pacientes que muestran una reacción alérgica a cualquier ingrediente del producto. Evite el uso de Theo-24 Cr en el caso de que usted está tomando medicamentos destinados a tratar las úlceras pépticas y el ardor de estómago (cimetidina) o anticonvulsionantes que se utilizan en el tratamiento de la epilepsia (carbamazepina).
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Los efectos secundarios graves pueden incluir jaquecas, trastornos del sueño (insomnio), inquietud, vómitos, temblores, palpitaciones, ataques epilépticos (convulsiones), acritud y micción frecuente. Los efectos secundarios menos graves incluyen náusea, pérdida del apetito, pérdida de peso, vértigo, somnolencia. Esto no es una lista completa de todos los posibles efectos secundarios. Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Este medicamento es capaz de interactuar con una clase de fármacos anticonvulsivos, estabilizadores del humor (carbamazepina) que se utiliza para tratar la epilepsia y el trastorno bipolar, los antidepresivos que actúan como inhibidores selectivos de la recaptación de serotonina (fluvoxamina); sympatholic beta-bloqueantes (propranolol) para tratar la hipertensión , el pánico y la ansiedad, de amplio espectro, medicamentos con propiedades antibacterianas, fungicidas, parasiticidas (tiabendazol, enoxacina), una clase de antibióticos macrólidos (eritromicina), una clase de antibióticos de bacterias del grupo de rifamicina (rifampicina), la histamina H2-antagonistas de los receptores que inhiben la producción de ácido en el estómago (cimetidina), hierba de San Juan.
Dosis olvidada
En caso de que usted ha omitido una dosis, tómela tan pronto como se acuerde. Si usted ve que es casi la hora para su próxima dosis, deje de tomar la dosis olvidada. Nunca aumente la dosis recomendada. Usted puede tomar la dosis prescrita día siguiente, en el momento en que se utilizan para tomar de manera regular.
Sobredosis
Los síntomas de sobredosis incluyen ataque epiléptico, inquietud, vómitos, temblores, palpitaciones, insomnio.
