O que devo dizer ao meu médico antes de tomar este medicamento?
Ele precisa saber se tem alguma das seguintes condições:
- problemas de visão ou oculares, incluindo doença ocular rara, hereditária, designada retinite pigmentosa
- doenças do coração, angina, problemas de tensão arterial alta ou baixa, um historial de ataque cardíaco ou outros problemas cardíacos
- doenças renais
- doenças hepáticas
- Acidente Vascular Cerebral
- reacção alérgica ou anormal ao tadalafil, outros medicamentos, alimentos, corantes ou conservantes
- se está grávida ou a tentar engravidar
- se está a amamentar
Como devo tomar este medicamento?
Tome este medicamento por via oral, com um copo de água. Pode tomar este medicamento em jejum ou acompanhado por alimentos. A dose é tomada geralmente 30 a 60 minutos antes da actividade sexual. Não deve tomar mais que uma dose diária deste medicamento. Não tome mais doses deste medicamento que as recomendadas.
Consulte um pediatra relativamente à administração deste medicamento a crianças. Podem ser necessárias precauções especiais.
Sobredosagem: Se pensa que poderá ter tomado uma dose superior ao prescrito contacte o Centro de Informação Antivenenos ou os Serviços de Urgência de imediato.

Que fazer se falhei uma toma?
Se falhar uma toma, tome a sua dose quando se lembrar mas não tome mais que uma dose por dia.
O que pode interferir com este medicamento?
Não tome este medicamento com nenhum dos seguintes:
- nitratos como nitrito de amilo, dinitrato de isosorbido, mononitrato de isosorbido, nitroglicerina
Este medicamento pode também interagir com os seguintes:
- alguns medicamentos para a tensão arterial
- alguns medicamentos para o tratamento da infecção por HIV ou SIDA
- alguns medicamentos para o tratamento de infecções fúngicas ou dos fenos, como fluconazol, itraconazol, cetoconazol e voriconazol
- alguns medicamentos para o tratamento de convulsões, como carbamazepina, fenitoína e fenobarbital
- sumo de toranja
- antibióticos macrólidos como claritromicina, eritromicina, troleandomicina
- medicamentos para problemas de próstata
- rifabutina, rifampina ou rifapentina
Esta lista pode não incluir todas as possíveis interacções. Que cuidados devo ter enquanto tomar este medicamento?
Se notar quaisquer alterações de visão ao tomar este medicamento, informe o seu médico de imediato. Pare imediatamente de tomar este medicamento se começar a perder visão num ou em ambos os olhos e contacte imediatamente o seu médico.
Contacte o seu médico imediatamente se a sua erecção se prolongar por mais de 4 horas ou se se tornar dolorosa. Estes podem ser sinais indicadores de um problema grave e devem ser tratados de imediato para evitar danos permanentes.
Se sentir náuseas, tonturas, dores no peito ou no braço ao iniciar a actividade sexual depois de tomar este medicamento, deve de imediato inibir-se de mais actividades e contactar de imediato o seu médico com a maior brevidade.
Não beba bebidas alcoólicas em excesso (por examplo, 5 copos de vinho ou 5 doses de whisky) enquanto estiver a tomar este medicamento. Quando tomado em excesso, o àlcool aumenta as probabilidades de ter dores de cabeça, tonturas, ritmo cardíaco acelerado e baixa de tensão arterial.
O uso deste medicamento não o protege, a si ou à(ao) sua(seu) companheira(o), contra infecção por HIV (o vírus que causa SIDA) ou outras doenças sexualmente transmissíveis.
Que efeitos secundários posso notar com a toma deste medicamento?
Efeitos secundários que deve reportar ao seu médico de imediato:
- reacções alérgicas como pruridos ou comichão, urticária, inchaço da cara, lábios ou língua
- dificuldade em respirar
- alterações da audição
- dores no peito
- ritmo cardíaco acelerado ou irregular
Efeitos secundários que normalmente não requerem atenção médica (diga ao seu médico ou profissional de saúde se persistem, ou se são incómodos):
- dores nas costas
- tonturas
- rubor
- dores de cabeça
- indigestão
- dores musculares
- nariz entupido ou com uma descarga anormal
Esta lista pode não descrever todos os efeitos secundários possíveis.
Onde devo guardar o meu medicamento?
Mantenha-o fora do alcance de crianças.
Guarde este medicamento em lugar seco, à temperatura ambiente entre 15 e 30 graus C(59 e 86 graus F). Deite fora medicamentos não utilizados após expirar o prazo de validade.
