Informations générales
Lasix est un diurétique de l'anse utilisé dans le traitement de l'hypertension artérielle ou de la rétention d'eau (gonflement) associée à une insuffisance cardiaque congestive, une maladie du foie ou des reins. Le médicament empêche votre organisme d'absorber trop de sel. Par conséquent, il permet au sel d’être évacuée dans votre urine.
Posologie
Il est recommandé de prendre le médicament conformément aux instructions de votre médecin.
Précautions
Avant de commencer votre traitement avec Lasix, veuillez informer votre médecin si vous souffrez de maladie rénale, de maladie du foie, de la goutte, de lupus, de diabète ou d’une allergie aux sulfamides. Il n'est pas recommandé de prendre le médicament si vous êtes enceinte ou si vous allaitez au sein.
Contre-indications
Les patients présentant les états suivants doivent éviter d’utiliser Lasix: hypersensibilité, insuffisance hépatique grave, insuffisance rénale aiguë avec anurie, coma et précoma du foie, sténose de l'urètre, glomérulonéphrite aiguë, obstruction des voies urinaires, précoma, coma hyperglycémique, goutte, hypotension artérielle, crise cardiaque, pancréatite et autres.
Effets secondaires possibles
Au cas où vous ressentez un des effets secondaires suivants, une aide médicale immédiate peut s’avérer nécessaire: bouche sèche, soif, nausée, vomissement, rythme cardiaque rapide ou irrégulier, douleurs musculaires, faiblesse, somnolence, agitation, ou sensation de tête légère, raréfaction ou absence de miction, ecchymoses légères ou saignements, cloques rouges, éruptions cutanées, perte de cheveux.
Interaction des médicaments
Lasix pourrait avoir une interaction avec les médicaments suivants: antibiotiques aminoglycosides (gentamicine et autres) ou Edecrin, d’autres diurétiques, aspirine Sucralfate (Carafate).
Omission de dose
Prenez la dose omise dès que possible. S'il est presque l’heure de la prochaine prise, il suffit de sauter la dose omise et de revenir à votre horaire de prise habituel.
Surdosage
Si vous pensez avoir omis une surdose de ce médicament, demandez une aide médicale d'urgence immédiatement. Les symptômes de surdosage sont une perte d'appétit, des bourdonnements aux oreilles, une faiblesse grave, des vertiges, de l’obnubilation, des vertiges ou des évanouissements.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament hors de portée des enfants à la température ambiante dans un endroit sec et sombre.
