Información general
Nolvadex pertenece a la clase de anti-estrógenos. El medicamento se prescribe para el tratamiento del cáncer de mama. Este tipo de medicamento está actuando como un antagonista de los receptores de estrógenos y previene completamente la influencia de los estrógenos en los tumores causados por esta hormona. Bloqueando el estrógeno Nolvadex detiene el crecimiento del tumor. Nolvadex trata el cancer que se ha diseminado a otras partes del cuerpo. Puede ser utilizado por mujeres que están en alto riesgo de cáncer de mama y las mujeres con carcinoma ductal in situ (después de la cirugía y radiación) para reducir el riesgo de desarrollar cáncer de mama.
Instrucciones
Se recomienda tomar el medicamento como se lo indique su médico.Tómelo con un vaso grande de agua. No exceda la dosis prescrita.
Precauciones
Siendo tratado con Nolvadex, el paciente debe ser monitoreado para cualquier sangrado vaginal anormal, cambios en los períodos menstruales, cambios en la secreción vaginal o dolor pélvico o presión.Puede aumentarse la posibilidad d el desarrollo del cáncer endometrial.
Contraindicaciones
Mujeres embarazadas y lactantes y los pacientes con hipersensibilidad a Nolvadex no pueden usar el medicamento. Los pacientes con enfermedades de los ojos, la hiperlipidemia, leucopenia, trombocitopenia, hipercalcemia, tromboflebitis grave, y el tromboembolismo deben ser controlados.
Los efectos secundarios
Los efectos secundarios comunes son los sofocos, náuseas, vómitos, aumento de peso, períodos menstruales anormales.
Interacción con otros medicamentos
El medicamento puede causar anormalidades en las pruebas del hígado y la sangre, el control de regularidad de los efectos secundarios causados por Nolvadex es necesario. En ningún signo de efectos secundarios, el paciente debe consultar a su médico.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. Si es casi la hora de la nueva ingesta, omítala y vuelva a su horario.
Sobredosis
