Información general

Instrucciones
Tome Aceon exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. La dosis inicial recomendada para la mayoría de las personas con presión arterial alta (hipertensión) es de 4 mg una vez al día. La dosis diaria normal es de 4 mg y 8 mg, ya sea en una sola dosis o dividida en dos dosis más pequeñas (2 mg y 4 mg dos veces al día). Si usted tiene enfermedad renal o insuficiencia renal, o si usted tiene más de 65 años, su médico puede comenzar con una dosis más baja. La dosis diaria máxima recomendada es de 16 mg. Tómelo a la misma hora cada día.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Aceon debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene enfermedad renal, enfermedad hepática, enfermedades del corazón, insuficiencia cardíaca congestiva, la diabetes, enfermedades del tejido conectivo (síndrome de Marfan, síndrome de Sjogren, lupus, esclerodermia, artritis reumatoide), diabetes, alergias. Este medicamento puede causar mareos. No conduzca o realice tareas que requieren vigilancia. Limite el consumo de las bebidas alcohólicas. El alcohol puede disminuir su presión arterial y puede aumentar algunos de los efectos secundarios. Para reducir el riesgo de mareos y aturdimiento, levántese lentamente al levantarse de una posición sentada o acostada. Los ancianos pueden ser más sensibles a los efectos de esta droga.
Contraindicaciones
No utilice Aceon si usted es alérgico al perindopril o a cualquier otro inhibidor de la ECA, está embarazada o amamantando, o si usted tiene angioedema relacionado con tratamiento previo con inhibidores de la ECA, angioedema hereditario o idiopático.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Atención médica de emergencia si tiene sensación de mareo, desmayo, dolor en el pecho, sensación de cansancio, orinar con más o menos de lo normal, debilidad muscular, fiebre, congestión nasal, escalofríos, hinchazón, ganancia rápida de peso, dolor de cuerpo, dolor muscular o articular, desigual latidos del corazón, los síntomas de la gripe, piel pálida, diarrea moretones o sangrado, coloración amarillenta de la piel o los ojos (ictericia), dolor de estómago, problemas para dormir (insomnio), somnolencia. Si usted nota otros efectos no mencionados anteriormente, consulte a su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: litio, medicamentos anti-inflamatorios no esteroideos (celecoxib, ibuprofeno, indometacina), diuréticos ahorradores de potasio (amilorida, espironolactona, triamtereno), sustitutos de la sal, suplementos de potasio, la drospirenona, la gentamicina. La interacción entre los dos medicamentos no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dígale a su médico sobre todos los medicamentos, de venta libre-, y los medicamentos a base de hierbas que está tomando.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina, debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son mareos, debilidad, desmayos.
Almacenaje
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 59-86 grados F (15-30 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad. No guarde los medicamentos en el cuarto de baño. Mantenga todos los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
