Precauciones

Contraindicaciones
No tome Cardura si usted es alérgico a la doxazosina, quinazolinas o cualquier otro ingrediente del medicamento. Informe a su médico si está embarazada o amamantando.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Busque atención médica de emergencia si tiene debilidad, dolor de cabeza, mareos, diarrea, dolor de estómago, latido cardiaco rápido, sensación de desmayo mareos, secreción nasal, sudoración, insomnio, urticaria, dificultad para respirar, hinchazón de la cara, labios, lengua, visión cambios, ansiedad, depresión, temblores musculares, nerviosismo, hinchazón de las manos, tobillos o pies, erección del pene dolorosa que dura 4 horas o más. Si usted nota otros efectos no mencionados anteriormente, consulte a su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: cimetidina, sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil, diuréticos de tiazida, bloqueadores beta, bloqueadores alfa, rituximab. La interacción entre los dos medicamentos no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dígale a su médico todos los medicamentos, de venta libre-, y los medicamentos a base de hierbas que está tomando.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son: mareos intensos, desmayos, debilidad.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 59-77 grados F (15-30 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad. No guarde los medicamentos en el cuarto de baño. Mantenga todos los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
