Frumil (Amiloride)
Información general
Frumil es un diurético (píldora de agua) que se utiliza para tratar la retención de líquidos e hipertensión arterial. Contiene dos principios activos, el clorhidrato de amilorida y furosemida. Funciona al hacer que los riñones aumenten la cantidad de sales, como el potasio y el sodio, que se filtran de la sangre y la orina.
Instrucciones
Tome Frumil exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Si está siendo tratado para el uso de alta presión arterial de Frumil requiere varias semanas, ya que la hipertensión no se trata, pero sólo se mantiene bajo el control.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Frumil usted debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene un bajo volumen de fluido en la sangre (hipovolemia), niveles altos de potasio en la sangre (hiperpotasemia), niveles muy bajos de sodio en la sangre (hiponatremia), la diabetes, del riñón o insuficiencia hepática, la alergia a la furosemida o la amilorida.
Contraindicaciones
La furosemida está contraindicada en pacientes con anuria, hipovolemia y en pacientes con antecedentes de hipersensibilidad a la furosemida. No se recomienda para niños menores de 18 años de edad. Informe a su médico si está embarazada o amamantando.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Busque atención médica de emergencia si tiene debilidad, calambres musculares, mareos, boca seca, aumento de la producción de orina, aumento del nivel de azúcar en la sangre, dolor de cabeza, parestesia, erupciones en la piel, trastornos visuales, hiperuricemia, somnolencia, deshidratación. Si usted nota otros efectos no mencionados anteriormente, consulte a su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: inhibidores de la ECA (captopril), ciclosporina, sales de potasio, tacrolimus, no esteroides anti-inflamatorios no esteroideos (indometacina), antagonistas de la angiotensina II (losartán), no esteroides anti-inflamatorios las drogas (ibuprofeno),. La interacción entre los dos medicamentos no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dígale a su médico todos los medicamentos, de venta libre-, y los medicamentos a base de hierbas que está tomando.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
No hay síntomas de una sobredosis conocidos. Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 59-86 grados F (15-30 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad.
