Hyzaar pertenece a un medicamento que contenga una combinación de hydrochlorothiazide and losartan. Losartán (Cozaar) es un antagonista de angiotensina II. Losartan impide que los vasos sanguíneos se reduzcan, lo que disminuye la presión arterial y mejora la circulación sanguínea. Hyzaar es útil en el tratamiento de la hipertensión. Ayuda a prevenir los accidentes cerebrovasculares.
Instrucciones
Hyzaar debe ser tomado sólo de acuerdo con las prescripciones hechas por su doctor. Usted puede cambiar su horario de dosificación sólo con el permiso del médico. Evite tomar el medicamento más de lo prescrito.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar debe inmediatamente consultarse acon su médico si usted está embarazada, planea quedar embarazada ya que puede causar un grave daño para el feto. Para asegurarse de que pueden tomar con seguridad Hyzaar también debe informar a su médico si usted tiene insuficiencia cardíaca, hepática / renal, asma, glaucoma, nivel de potasio bajo o alto, lupus, gota, diabetes o que son propensos a la alergia en relación con las sulfamidas . Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Usted debe evitar el uso de Hyzaar consentaneously con alcohol, sedantes, hipnóticos, tranquilizantes, los antipsicóticos, los opiáceos o relajantes musculares ya que puede causar efectos secundarios graves con respecto a los cambios de la presión arterial o incluso provocar hiperpotasemia.
Dosis olvidada
En caso de haber perdido una dosis de este medicamento, tómelo tan pronto como sea posible. Si usted va a tomar su próxima dosis, no tome la dosis que olvidó y mantenga su horario de dosificación normal. Evite compensar la dosis olvidada mediante la adopción de una extra.
Sobredosis
Los síntomas más frecuentes de una sobredosis cubren un ritmo anormalmente bajo / rápidos latidos del corazón, mareos o hipertensión.
Almacenamiento
Mantenga este medicamento en un recipiente seco y oscuro a temperatura ambiente entre 15-30 C (59-86 F).
