Como devo tomar este medicamento?
Tome este medicamento por via oral com um copo de água. Este medicamento pode ser tomado com ou sem alimentos. Tome as doses em intervalos regulares. Não tome este medicamento mais do que indicado.
Fale com o seu pediatra se tenciona utilizar estes medicamentos em crianças. Cuidados especiais podem ser necessários.
Sobredosagem: Se pensa que poderá ter tomado uma dose superior ao prescrito contacte o Centro de Informação Antivenenos ou os Serviços de Urgência de imediato.
NOTA: Este medicamento é apenas para si. Não o partilhe com outros.
Que fazer se falhei uma toma?
Se esquecer uma dose, tome-a o mais cedo possível. Se estiver quase na hora de tomar a próxima dose, tome apenas essa. Não tome doses duplas ou extras.
O que pode interferir com este medicamento?
Não tome este medicamento com nenhum dos seguintes:
- fenofibrato
- gemfibrozil
Este medicamento pode também interagir com os seguintes:
- antiácidos
- ciclosporina
- medicamentos naturais como a levedura de arroz vermelho
- outros medicamentos para baixar colesterol e os triglicerídeos
Esta lista pode não descrever todas as possíveis interacções. Dê ao seu médico uma lista de todos os medicamentos, ervas, medicamentos sem receita médica, ou suplementos dietético que use. Fazendo exercício e evitando álcool e tabaco também pode ajudar. Pergunte ao seu médico ou nutricionista por aconselhamento.
Que efeitos secundários posso notar com a toma deste medicamento?
Efeitos secundários que deve reportar ao seu médico de imediato:
- reacções alérgicas como erupções cutâneas, comichão ou urticária, inchaço da face, lábios ou língua
- urina amarela escura ou castanha
- invulgarmente fraco ou cansado
- amarelecimento da pele ou olhos
Efeitos secundários que normalmente não requerem atenção médica (diga ao seu médico ou profissional de saúde se persistem, ou se são incómodos):
- diarreia
- tonturas
- enxaquecas
- dor ou perturbação do estômago

Onde devo guardar o meu medicamento?
Mantenha-o fora do alcance das crianças.
