Información general

Funciona al aumentar la cantidad de sal y agua que los riñones eliminan de la sangre. Este exceso de sal y el agua se elimina por la orina. Al aumentar la cantidad de agua extraída de la sangre, Esidrix causa una disminución en el volumen sanguíneo. Debido a este efecto, Esidrix puede disminuir la presión arterial y ayuda con la retención de agua.
Instrucciones
Tome Esidrix exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Tome este medicamento por vía oral, generalmente una vez al día por la mañana con o sin comida. Es mejor evitar tomar este medicamento dentro de las 4 horas antes de acostarse para evitar tener que levantarse a orinar. La dosis inicial recomendada para el tratamiento de la hipertensión arterial es la hidroclorotiazida 25 mg una vez al día. La dosis puede aumentarse hasta 50 mg por día. La dosis recomendada para la retención de líquidos (edema) puede variar entre 25 mg y 100 mg al día (se toma una dosis única o dividida y capturados con mayor frecuencia).
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Esidrix usted debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene enfermedad del hígado, cirrosis, enfermedad renal, insuficiencia renal, diabetes, lupus eritematoso sistémico, angioedema, gota, pancreatitis, colesterol alto, asma, o problemas con los electrolitos líquidos, problemas de paratiroides, la simpatectomía, algún tipo de alergia. Informe a su médico si está embarazada o amamantando. Sudoración intensa, diarrea o vómitos puede aumentar el riesgo de una grave pérdida de agua corporal (deshidratación). Tome líquidos en abundancia. Este medicamento puede causar mareos. No conduzca o realice tareas que requieren vigilancia. Los adultos mayores pueden ser más sensibles a los efectos de esta droga.
Contraindicaciones
Usted no debe tomar Esidrix si usted es alérgico a la hidroclorotiazida, cualquiera de los componentes inactivos de la medicación o las sulfamidas.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Obtenga ayuda médica de emergencia si usted tiene malestar estomacal, diarrea, mareos, náuseas, vómitos, dolor de cabeza, calambres musculares, debilidad, latidos cardíacos irregulares, disminución inusual del volumen de orinar, boca inusual seca, sed, disminución de la visión, dolor ocular, erupciones, picazón, hinchazón de la cara, lengua, garganta, dificultad para respirar, sensibilidad al sol, pérdida de cabello. Si usted nota otros efectos no mencionados anteriormente, consulte a su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: litio, colestiramina, barbitúricos (butabarbital, pentobarbital, fenobarbital), narcóticos (codeína, morfina, oxicodona), colestipol, relajantes musculares (tubocurarina), corticosteroides (hidrocortisona, prednisona, dexametasona) , la noradrenalina, medicamentos anti-inflamatorios no esteroideos (naproxeno, ibuprofeno, celecoxib, meloxicam, diclofenaco). La interacción entre los dos medicamentos no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son mareos, debilidad, desmayos.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 59-77 grados F (15-25 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad. No guarde los medicamentos en el cuarto de baño. Mantenga todos los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
