Aciphex (Rabeprazole)
Informazioni generali
Aciphex appartiene ad un gruppo di farmaci chiamati inibitori della pompa protonica (PPI). Diminuisce la quantità di acido prodotto nello stomaco. Il suo componente principale è il rabeprazolo. E 'indicato per il trattamento di problematiche legate all’acidità di stomaco, intestinale e della gola (esofago) problemi come la malattia da reflusso gastroesofageo, ulcera, esofagite erosiva, sindrome di Zollinger-Ellison. Può anche prevenire gravi danni al sistema digestivo a causa dell’acidità. Aciphex può essere utilizzato anche in combinazione con antibiotici per trattare alcuni tipi di ulcere causate da un'infezione batterica.
Indicazioni
Assumere Aciphex esattamente come prescritto dal medico. Prendere il farmaco con un bicchiere pieno d'acqua con o senza cibo. Assumere il farmaco per via orale una volta al giorno tutti i giorni. Non schiacciare, masticare, o spezzare il medicinale. Il tempo di trattamento con aciphex solitamente dura tra le 4 e le 8 settimane. Durante il trattamento dell'infezione da H. pylori, il farmaco potrebbe essere necessario solo per 7 giorni. Avvisare il medico se i sintomi non migliorano o addirittura peggiorano durante l’assunzione del medicinale.
Precauzioni
Prima di prendere Aciphex informare il medico se si soffre di una grave malattia al fegato, problemi di stomaco o bassi livelli di magnesio nel sangue. Seguire le istruzioni del medico su eventuali restrizioni alimentari, bevande, o attività.
Controindicazioni
Il medicinale non è indicato per pazienti con ipersensibilità al rabeprazolo, derivati benzimidazolici o a qualsiasi altro componente del farmaco. Informare il medico in caso di gravidanza o allattamento.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Questo farmaco è generalmente ben tollerato. Cercare immediatamente assistenza medica se si presentano sintomi come: magnesio basso (frequenza cardiaca irregolare, convulsioni, vertigini, debolezza muscolare, tosse), reazione allergica (gonfiore del viso, delle labbra, difficoltà respiratorie, orticaria). Gli effetti collaterali meno gravi possono includere: prurito, nervosismo, diarrea, cefalea, eruzioni cutanee, disturbi di stomaco, insonnia. Se si notano altri effetti, contattare il medico o il farmacista.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Informare il medico su tutti i tipi di medicinali contemporaneamente in uso, in particolare: digossina, ciclosporina, diuretici, atazanavir, anticoagulante (warfarin), clopidogrel. Non avviare, interrompere o modificare il dosaggio del farmaco prima di qualsiasi controllo con il medico.
Dose mancata
Assumere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Se è quasi ora della dose successiva basta non assumerla e tornare ad assumere il farmaco come previsto. Non prendere una dose extra del medicinale per compensare la dose dimenticata.
Overdose
I sintomi di sovradosaggio non sono note. Se si pensa di avere assunto un sovradosaggio del cercare immediatamente assistenza medica.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 15-25 °C (59-77 gradi F) lontano dalla luce e dall'umidità. Conservare tutti i farmaci lontano dalla portata dei bambini e da animali domestici.
