Great customer service! Your operators were patient enough to guide me through the entire ordering process and I am very grateful for that. Asacol (Mesalamine)
Informazioni generali
Asacol appartiene al gruppo dei farmaci anti-infiammatori. Il farmaco viene somministrato per trattare colite ulcerosa di lieve-moderata entità e malattia di Chron di lieve-moderata entità . Il farmaco agisce riducendo l'infiammazione nell'intestino. Asacol non cura completamente la colite ulcerosa, ma ne può ridurre i sintomi come mal di stomaco, diarrea, e sanguinamento rettale causato da irritazione / rigonfiamento del colon / retto. Il farmaco agisce impedendo al corpo di produrre certe sostanze chimiche naturali che possono causare dolore e gonfiore.
Indicazioni
Assumere Asacol esattamente come prescritto dal medico. Prendere Asacol per via orale a stomaco vuoto o pieno 3 volte al giorno. Il dosaggio corretto varia da paziente a paziente e si basa sulle condizioni di salute e sulla risposta al trattamento. Per il trattamento della colite ulcerosa la dose corretta è di due compresse tre volte al giorno. Per un trattamento a lungo termine vanno assunti 1600 mg al giorno in dosi frazionate.
Precauzioni
Prima di iniziare il trattamento con Asacol,informare il proprio medico se siete allergici ad esso o ai salicilati, se si hanno problemi ai reni o al fegato, asma, lo svuotamento anomalo dello stomaco (stenosi pilorica), problemi di pancreas (pancreatite), infiammazione del sacco intorno alla cuore (pericardite). Questo farmaco può provocare vertigini. Non guidare o fare qualsiasi attività che richiede attenzione. Limitare l'assunzione di bevande alcoliche.
Controindicazioni
I pazienti che sono allergici ad uno qualsiasi dei componenti del farmaco,quelli con ulcera gastrica o duodenale od ostruzione del tratto urinario non devono assumere il farmaco. Anche i bambini con età inferiore ai 2 anni non devono assumere Asacol. Informare il medico in caso di gravidanza o d'allattamento.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza se si hanno:dolori addominali, febbre, visione offuscata, diarrea sanguinolenta, vertigini, sanguinamento rettale, nervosismo, prurito, debolezza, udito martellante, battito cardiaco lento o veloce, mal di schiena, vomito, occhi e pelle gialli , ansia , dolore toracico, perdita di capelli, perdita di appetito, dolori muscolari. Se si notano altri effetti non elencati sopra, contattare il medico.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Si informi il medico circa tutti i farmaci in uso, in particolare riguardo a: warfarin, sulfaniluree (gliclazide, gliburide), farmaci anti-infiammatori non steroidei (ibuprofene, naproxene), digoxine, furosemide, azatioprina, spironolattone, probenecid, nadroparina, dalteparina, enoxaparina, ardeparin, Tinzaparina, metotressato. Si noti inoltre che l'interazione fra due farmaci non necessariamente deve portare ad una sospensione dell'utilizzo di uno dei due farmaci. Si informi il medico circa tutti i farmaci in uso compresi i farmaci da prescrizione,quelli da banco e prodotti erboristici.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose dimenticata non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere dosi extra per compensare le dosi dimenticate.
Sovradosaggio
Se si pensa di aver assunto una dose eccessiva del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica d'emergenza. Il sovradosaggio può provocare:dispnea, convulsioni, sonnolenza, diarrea, ronzio alle orecchie, mal di testa, vertigini, respiro accelerato, sudorazione, confusione, vomito, perdita dell'udito, nausea.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 68-77 gradi F (20-25 ° C) lontano dalla luce e dall'umidità. Conservare in un contenitore stretto.
