Colospa appartient à la classe de médicaments antispasmodiques. Ce médicament agit directement sur le muscle lisse de l'intestin provoquant la détention. Principalement, il empêche des spasmes gastro-intestinaux sévères en aidant à traiter le côlon irritable primaire caractérisé par une obstipation, une diarrhée persistante, des crampes, des spasmes abdominaux, un gonflement abdominal post-prandial et le côlon irritable secondaire qui inclut les changements graves d'appétit, une sensation de nausée, une indigestion aiguë (d'autres inflammations spécifiques et non spécifiques du tractus gastro-intestinal).
Posologie
Le dosage approprié de Colospa est de 135 mg (1 comprimé) pris 3 fois par jour. La prise de Colospa est préférable avant les repas. Les résultats nécessaires acquis en prenant ce médicament peuvent entraîner une réduction lente d'un dosage si vous en avez parlé au préalable avec votre conseiller en santé.
Contre-indications
Aucune inhibition du péristaltisme normale n'a été identifiée, mais ce médicament est contre-indiqué aux patients souffrant d'hypersensibilité et du métabolisme anormal de l'hémoglobine (porphyrie).
Effets secondaires possibles
Vous devez aviser immédiatement votre conseiller en santé si vous souffrez de l'un des symptômes gênants tels que la rétention des selles, une agitation, la confusion de l’état mental, une allergie (une enflure du visage ou de la langue, une éruption cutanée, l’urticaire). Généralement une réaction indésirable du médicament affecte les patients individuellement.

Omission de dose
Dans le cas où vous avez oublié de prendre une dose de ce médicament, prenez-la dès que possible. S’il est déjà le temps de prendre votre prochaine dose, ne prenez pas la dose que vous avez oubliée et reprenez votre posologie ordinaire. Ne prenez pas deux doses à la fois.
