METOCLOPRAMIDA é usado no tratamento dos sintomas da doença do refluxo gastroesofágico (DRGE) como azia. É também utilizado para tratar pessoas com esvaziamento lento do estômago e do trato intestinal.
O que devo dizer ao meu médico antes de tomar este medicamento?
Ele precisa de saber se tem alguma destas condições:
- depressão
- doença renal
- doença de Parkinson ou desordem do movimento
- feocromocitoma
- convulsões
- obstrução do estômago, hemorragia ou perfuração
- reacções invulgares ou alérgicas à metoclopramida, procainamida, sulfites, outros medicamentos, alimentos, corantes ou conservantes
- está grávida ou a tentar engravidar
- está a amamentar
Como devo tomar este medicamento?
Tome este medicamento por via oral com um copo de água. Tome este medicamento com o estômago vazio, cerca de 30 minutos antes de comer. Tome a dose em intervalos regulares. Não tome o medicamento mais do que indicado. Não pare de tomar excepto se aconselhado pelo seu médico.
Fale com o seu pediatra se tenciona utilizar estes medicamentos em crianças. Cuidados especiais podem ser necessários.
Sobredosagem: Se pensa que poderá ter tomado uma dose superior ao prescrito contacte o Centro de Informação Antivenenos ou os Serviços de Urgência de imediato.
NOTA: Este medicamento é apenas para si. Não o partilhe com outros.
Que fazer se falhei uma toma?
Se esquecer uma dose, tome-a o mais cedo possível. Se estiver quase na hora de tomar a próxima dose, tome apenas essa. Não tome doses duplas ou extras.
O que pode interferir com este medicamento?
- acetaminofeno
- ciclosporina
- digoxina
- medicamentos para diabetes, incluindo a insulina
- medicamentos para a febre dos fenos e outras alergias
- medicamentos para a depressão mental
- medicamentos para a doença de Parkinson, como a levodopa
- medicamentos para dormir ou para a dor
- tetraciclina
Informe o seu médico sobre todos os outros medicamentos que está a tomar, incluindo medicamentos não sujeitos a receita médica, suplementos nutricionais, ou produtos à base de plantas. Que efeitos secundários posso notar com a toma deste medicamento?
Efeitos secundários que deve reportar ao seu médico de imediato:
- reacções alérgicas como erupções cutâneas, comichão ou urticária, inchaço da face, lábios ou língua
- produção anormal de leite nas mulheres
- crescimento mamário em ambos os sexos masculino e feminino
- mudança na forma de andar
- dificuldade em se mover, falar ou engolir
- sialorreia, rebaixar o lábio, ou movimentos rápidos da língua
- movimentos involuntários ou incontroláveis dos olhos, cabeça, braços e pernas
- palpitações ou batimentos cardíacos irregulares
- convulsões ou espasmos musculares
- invulgarmente fraco ou cansado
Efeitos secundários que normalmente não requerem atenção médica (diga ao seu médico ou profissional de saúde se persistem, ou se são incómodos):
