Posologie
Prenez Aricept régulièrement avant le coucher. Pendant le premier mois, la dose est de 5 mg une fois par jour, puis elle peut être augmentée à 10 mg par jour. Évitez d'avaler le comprimé en entier, laissez-le se dissoudre dans votre bouche sans le mâcher.
Précautions
Avant de prendre Aricept, avisez votre médecin si vous êtes allergique à des médicaments, ou si vous avez des maladies chroniques, des problèmes de miction, de l'estomac, l'asthme, l'épilepsie ou si vous prenez des AINS. Il est obligatoire d'informer votre médecin si vous êtes enceinte ou si vous allaitez.
Contre-indications
Ne l'utilisez pas si vous avez une réaction allergique au donépézil et aux dérivés de la pipéridine.
Effets secondaires possibles
Une allergie, un gonflement, des maux de tête, des vertiges, des crachats de sang, une miction difficile, une saisie.
Interactions des médicaments
On ne doit pas l’utiliser avec le cytochrome, les inducteurs (éthanol). L’effet est impossible à prévoir. Le risque des réactions indésirables augmente lorsque Aricept est utilisé en association avec des médicaments et des AINS.
Omission de dose
Sautez la dose oubliée s'il est temps pour votre prochaine dose. Ne prenez pas de doses supplémentaires pour compenser la dose oubliée.
Surdosage
Une surdose peut être provoquée par une hypertrophie de la prostate, des maladies chroniques, des vertiges, l'asthme, la grossesse ou un trouble épileptique tel que l'épilepsie. Informez-en immédiatement votre médecin.
Conservation
Conservez le médicament à température ambiante entre 59-86 degrés F (15-30 degrés C). Conservez-le à l'écart de l'humidité et de la lumière.
