Información general

Instrucciones
Tome el Aricept regularmente antes de acostarse. Durante el primer mes la dosis debe ser de 5 mg una vez al día de lo que puede incrementar a 10 mg al día. Evite tragar la pastilla entera, deje que se disuelva en su boca sin masticarla.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar donepezil, dígale a su médico si usted es alérgico a alguna droga, o si tiene enfermedades crónicas, problemas para orinar, asma, estómago, epilepsia o si toma AINE. Es obligatorio informar a su médico si usted está embarazada o amamantando.
Contraindicaciones
No lo use si usted tiene una reacción alérgica al donepezilo y con los derivados de piperidina.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Alergias, inflamación, dolor de cabeza, mareos, tos con sangre, dificultad para orinar, convulsiones.
Interacción con otros medicamentos
Sustancias prohibitivas del citocromo, los inductores (etanol).Impredecible efecto. Riesgo de reacciones adversas crece cuando Aricept se usa junto con medicamentos y antiinflamatorios no esteroideos.
Dosis olvidada
No tome la dosis olvidada si es hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Una sobredosis puede causar un agrandamiento de la próstata, las enfermedades crónicas, vértigo, asma del estómago, el embarazo o un trastorno convulsivo como la epilepsia. Informe a su medico inmediatamente.
Almacenamiento
Guarde sus medicamentos a temperatura ambiente entre 59-86 grados F(15-30 grados C). Almacene lejos de la humedad y la luz.
