Isordil (Isosorbide Dinitrate)
Información general
Isordil pertenece al grupo de medicamentos llamados nitratos. Se utiliza para prevenir y aliviar el dolor en el pecho (angina de pecho) debido a la enfermedad arterial coronaria. Se trata de un agente vasodilatador potente objetivo de relajar el músculo liso y de ensanchar los vasos sanguíneos que permiten el flujo de sangre y oxígeno al corazón, por lo tanto, bombea sangre con más facilidad. Isordil reduce la presión de la sangre periférica arterial, disminuye el retorno venoso y la presión de llenado ventricular izquierdo.
Instrucciones
Es necesario consultar a un médico con respecto a la ingesta de dosis adecuada. No deje de tomar la medicina a menos que sea permitido por su médico. Administre la ingesta por vía oral con un vaso lleno de agua. Es conveniente tomarlo con el estómago vacío 30 minutos antes o 2 horas después de comer. Este medicamento no se mastica, se aplasta o se rompe mientras lo esté tomando. En general, la dosis estándar recomendada es de 5 mg a 20 mg tomado dos o tres veces al día. Algunos pacientes pueden requerir un ajuste de la dosis dependiendo de la enfermedad y las condiciones saludables.
Precauciones
Este producto puede contener ingredientes inactivos que pueden causar reacciones alérgicas. Este medicamento se prescribe con precaución si su anamnesis contiene un historial de ataques al corazón o insuficiencia cardiaca, reacciones alérgicas al dinitrato de isosorbida y nitratos. Este medicamento debe usarse sólo cuando sea claramente necesario durante el embarazo. Discuta los riesgos y beneficios con su médico.
Contraindicaciones
Isordil está contraindicado en pacientes que sufren de anemia severa, trauma reciente en la cabeza, hemorragia cerebral, insuficiencia renal o hepática grave, o en pacientes con presión intracraneal elevada. Consulte a su médico antes de tomar, en caso de que planea embarazo, está embarazada o dando de lactar ya que no hay informe de si este medicamento puede causar ningún daño al bebé nonato, o excretarse en la leche materna.
Posibles efectos secundarios
Usted tiene que notificar de inmediato a su médico si usted sufre de síntomas molestos tales como enrojecimiento dolor de cabeza palpitante, calidez y la piel, mareos, mareos, visión borrosa, sequedad de boca, erupción cutánea, urticaria, picazón, de color azul los labios, el empeoramiento de dolor de la angina de pecho, las uñas o palmas de las manos, desmayos, dificultad para respirar, palpitaciones, fiebre alta y convulsiones. Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Usted debe notificar a su profesional del cuidado de la salud si usted ya está tomando un grupo de medicamentos utilizados para tratar la disfunción eréctil, como sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis) o vardenafil (Levitra suave). La amplificación de la vasodilatación causada por la interacción entre el nitrato y el sildenafil puede llevar a una presión excesiva sangre. Informe a su médico si se aplica cualquier otro medicamento utilizado para tratar la angina de pecho o insuficiencia cardíaca. En caso de que usted no está seguro si este medicamento es compatible con otros medicamentos o suplementos, hable con su médico o farmacéutico.
Dosis omitida
En caso de haber olvidado a tomar una dosis de este medicamento, tómela tan pronto como sea posible. Si ya está supuesto a tomar la siguiente dosis, no tome la dosis que olvidó y mantenga a su horario de dosificación normal. No tome dos dosis de inmediato.
Sobredosis
Si usted cree que una sobredosis del medicamento, comuníquese inmediatamente con su centro local de envenenamiento y notifique a su médico o farmacéutico. Haga esto aun cuando no hay signos de malestar o intoxicación. Es posible que necesite atención médica urgente.
Almacenaje
