La Nitroglicerina appartiene a una classe di farmaci noti come nitrati. E 'utilizzato per prevenire dolori al petto (angina) in persone con particolari condizioni di cuore (malattia coronarica).L'angina si verifica quando il muscolo cardiaco non riceve sangue a sufficienza. Questo farmaco agisce rilassando i vasi sanguigni e allargandoli così il sangue può fluire più facilmente al cuore.
Indicazioni
Prendere nitroglicerina esattamente come prescritto dal proprio medico. Assumere questo farmaco per via orale, di solito 3 o 4 volte al giorno. Il dosaggio è basato sulle proprie condizioni di salute e di risposta al trattamento. Inghiottire il farmaco intero. Non frantumare o masticare le capsule. Non interrompere improvvisamente l'assunzione di questo farmaco senza consultare il medico.
Precauzioni
Prima di prendere nitroglicerina si dovrebbe parlare con il medico se si soffre di anemia, aumento della pressione intracranica, pressione bassa (ipotensione), disidratazione, malattie del fegato, insufficienza cardiaca congestizia, glaucoma, eventuali allergie. Questo farmaco può provocare vertigini. Non guidare o svolgere attività che richiedono attenzione. Limitare le bevande alcoliche. L'assunzione dell'alcol può aumentare alcuni degli effetti collaterali.
Controindicazioni
Non dovreste usare nitroglicerina se si è allergici ad esso,a Minitran, Nitro-Bid, Nitro-Dur, Nitrolingual, NitroMist, Nitrostat, o uno qualsiasi dei componenti inattivi del farmaco,se si sta assumendo un inibitore della PDE5, o se avete una grave anemia, aumento della pressione intracranica. Avvertire il proprio medico se si è incinta o se si sta allattano.
Possibili effetti collaterali
Ottenere assistenza medica di emergenza se si dispone di mal di testa, vertigini, stordimento, nausea e vampate di calore, febbre, mal di gola, battito cardiaco veloce, lento, o irregolare, visione offuscata, secchezza delle fauci, difficoltà respiratorie, gonfiore del viso, labbra, lingua, orticaria, sudorazione, vomito, pallore, rossore, dolore addominale. Se si notano altri effetti non elencati sopra, contattare il medico.
Interazioni farmacologiche
Informare il medico su tutti gli altri farmaci in uso, in particolare: aspirina, farmaci per la pressione sanguigna, farmaci della segale cornuta (ergotamina, diidroergotamina, bromocriptina), Alteplase, fosfodiesterasi tipo-5 inibitori (Tadalafil, Sildenafil, Vardenafil), Rosiglitazone, antidepressivi (imipramina, amitriptilina , clomipramina), beta-bloccanti (nadololo, carvedilolo, metoprololo, propranololo), calcio-antagonisti (nimodipina, verapamil, nifedipina). L'interazione tra due farmaci non sempre significa che si deve smettere di prendere uno dei due. Informare il medico su tutte le prescrizioni mediche, medicinali da banco, e farmaci a base di erbe che state assumendo.
Dose mancata
Prendere la dose non appena possibile. Saltare la dose, se è tempo per la dose successiva. Non prendere una dose di medicinale extra per compensare la dose dimenticata.
Sovradosaggio
Se pensi di aver assunto un overdose del farmaco cercare immediatamente assistenza medica di emergenza. I sintomi di sovradosaggio sono cefalea, confusione, febbre, battito cardiaco veloce o martellante, vertigini, problemi alla vista, nausea, vomito, diarrea sanguinolenta, problemi di respirazione, freddo o pelle umida, sensazione di testa leggera, svenimenti e convulsioni.
Conservazione
Conservare il farmaco a temperatura ambiente tra i 68-77 gradi F (20-25 gradi C) lontano da calore, luce e umidità. Non conservare i farmaci in bagno. Conservare tutti i farmaci lontano dalla portata dei bambini e animali domestici.
