Información general

Esta condición causa la reducción del flujo sanguíneo a las piernas, provocando dolor al caminar. Cilostazol mejora su capacidad de caminar largas distancias sin dolor.
Instrucciones
Tome Pletal exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Tome cada dosis con un vaso lleno de agua. Por lo general se toma dos veces al día, por lo menos 30 minutos antes o 2 horas después del desayuno o la cena. Tome cilostazol a la misma hora todos los días. La dosis recomendada es 100 mg b.i.d..
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Pletal usted debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene enfermedad del corazón o del hígado. La toronja y el jugo de toronja pueden tener interacciones con cilostazol. Discuta el uso de productos de toronja con su médico.
Contraindicaciones
No tome Pletal si tiene insuficiencia cardíaca congestiva, si usted está embarazada o amamantando.
Los posibles efectos secundarios
Obtenga ayuda médica de emergencia si usted tiene dolor en el pecho, dificultad para respirar, fiebre, dolor de cuerpo, urticaria, hinchazón de los tobillos o los pies, dificultad para respirar, orina con sangre, dolor al orinar, síntomas de gripe. Efectos secundarios de menor gravedad pueden incluir: dolor en las articulaciones, calambres en las piernas, diarrea, vómitos, debilidad, pulso acelerado, tos, mareos, congestión nasal. Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: fluvoxamina, sertralina, fluconazol, ketoconazol, itraconazol, diltiazem, clopidogrel, omeprazol, esomeprazol, eritromicina, claritromicina. La interacción entre los dos medicamentos no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dígale a su médico sobre todos los medicamentos, de venta libre-, y los medicamentos a base de hierbas que está tomando.
Dosis olvidada
Tome la dosis que se ha olvidado tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es la hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que tiene una sobredosis de la medicina, debe buscar ayuda médica de inmediato. Los síntomas de sobredosis son: diarrea, dolor de cabeza, desmayos, taquicardia, hipotensión.
Almacenamiento
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 59-86 grados F (15-30 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad. No guarde los medicamentos en el cuarto de baño. Guárdelo en un recipiente hermético. Mantenga todos los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
