Revia (Naltrexone)
Informations générales
Revia est un antagoniste d’opiacés. Il peut être prescrit pour prévenir les effets dus à l’abus de consommation de drogues ou d'alcool. Son composant actif est la naltrexone. Le médicament agit en prévenant les effets des opiacés dans le cerveau. Il permet de diminuer le désir ressenti lors de la prise des drogues.
Posologie
Il est recommandé de prendre le médicament suivant la prescription de votre médecin. La dose recommandée est de 50 mg une fois par jour. Vous pouvez le prendre avec ou sans nourriture. La dose peut être augmentée jusqu'à 100-150 mg.
Précautions
Contre-indications
Les personnes souffrant de troubles tels qu’une allergie au Revia, une insuffisance hépatique et une hépatite aiguë doivent éviter d’utiliser le médicament.
Effets secondaires possibles
Les effets secondaires peuvent être les suivants: des éruptions cutanées, des démangeaisons, un gonflement, des étourdissements graves, des difficultés respiratoires, des nausées, des céphalées, une anxiété, de la fatigue et des troubles du sommeil, des crampes abdominales, des douleurs musculaires, des douleurs osseuses aux articulations, de l'agitation et de la rhinorrhée. Si vous ressentez un des effets secondaires énumérés ci-dessus, contactez votre médecin.
Interaction des médicaments
Informez votre médecin de tous les médicaments que vous pouvez utiliser, en particulier sur les médicaments pour la diarrhée, la toux et la thioridazine.
Omission de dosage
Prenez la dose omise dès que possible. S'il est presque l’heure de la prochaine prise, il suffit de sauter la dose omise et de revenir à votre horaire habituel.
Surdosage
Si vous pensez avoir pris un surdosage du médicament, demandez de l’aide médicale d'urgence immédiatement.
Conversation
