Información general
Sinemet es una combinación de carbidopa y levodopa aplicada en el tratamiento de la enfermedad de Parkinson y la distonía dopa-Sensible. Previene hipocinesia, rigidez, temblor, la disfagia, la descarga de saliva. La levodopa se convierte en dopamina, debido a la enzima descarboxilasa DOPA. La activación de los receptores dopaminérgicos centrales mejora los síntomas de la enfermedad de Parkinson y la combinación de carbidora reduce los efectos secundarios no deseados periférica de la levodopa. El uso de carbidopa aumenta la cantidad de levodopa en el torrente sanguíneo que está disponible para entrar en el cerebro.
Instrucciones
Sinemet debe ser puesto en un rostro limpio y seco. Corre de manera uniforme sobre las áreas tratadas de la piel. No aplique Sinemet en las zonas irritadas. Generalmente tarda 6-9 semanas para alcanzar el resultado. Consulte a su médico para más información.
Precauciones
Debe informar a su médico si usted ha tenido diabetes, trastornos oculares (glaucoma de abierto), eczema atópico, el cáncer de piel, alergias o cualquier neuropsycopatia. Siga cuidadosamente las instrucciones de su médico acerca del tipo y la cantidad de líquidos, las comidas, suplementos alimenticios y otros medicamentos de manera segura pueden aplicarse simultáneamente con este producto. Consulte a su médico en caso de que está embarazada (o planea quedar embarazada) o en periodo de lactancia.
Contraindicaciones
Este medicamento está contraindicado en pacientes que son hipersensibles a la carbidopa y la levodopa. Asimismo, no debe utilizarse en pacientes con melanoblastoma, psicosis, infarto de miocardio, una historia de repetidos ataques epilépticos, diabetes, insiffucinecy renal o hepática aguda, asma bronquial, embarazo, lactancia.
Posibles efectos secundarios
Los efectos secundarios más comunes asociados con esta droga implica la eritrodermia, piel escamosa, urticaria, prurito y erupciones acneiformes. Una reacción alérgica muy grave no es probable que se produzca. Esto no es una lista completa de todos los posibles efectos secundarios. Otros pueden ocurrir en algunos pacientes y puede haber algunos efectos secundarios que no se conocen todavía. En caso de que se han experimentado efectos secundarios no mencionados anteriormente, notifique inmediatamente a su médico o al centro de intoxicaciones local.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Notifique a su médico acerca de una lista de medicamentos adicionales o suplementos que esté tomando, además de éste. No es recomendable combinar el uso de este producto con otros fármacos de clase similar, sin permiso de su médico. Se ha informado de que el Sinemet interactúa con una clase de antidepresivos utilizados para tratar la depresión, como inhibidores de la monoaminooxidasa: la fenelzina (Nardil Nardelzine), tranylcypromine (Parnate, Jatrosom), isocarboxazida (Marplan), selegilina (Deprenyl, Eldepryl, Emsam); con los remedios que contienen hierro.
Dosis omitida
En el caso de que se ha olvidado a tomar una dosis de este producto a base de hierbas, tómela tan pronto como sea posible. Si es casi la hora de tomar una dosis siguiente, salte la dosis que olvidó y mantenga a su horario de dosificación normal. No trate de compensar la dosis olvidada tomando uno extra.
Sobredosis
Si usted cree que una sobredosis del medicamento, comuníquese inmediatamente con su centro local de envenenamiento y notifique a su médico o farmacéutico. Haga esto aun cuando no hay signos de malestar o intoxicación. Es posible que necesite atención médica urgente. Los síntomas de sobredosis pueden incluir palpitaciones, síncope, enfermedad, opresión en el pecho, mareos.
Almacenaje
Guarde este producto en un recipiente hermético seco y alejado de fuentes de luz solar, el calor y la humedad a la temperatura ambiente de 20-25 C (68-77 o F). No lo guarde en el baño. Mantenga este producto fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas. No aplique los restos de la medicación después de la fecha de caducidad.
