Ticlid (Ticlopidine)
Información general
Ticlid es una droga anti-plaquetaria. Funciona al hacer que su sangre sea menos propensa a coagularse. Instrucciones
Tome Ticlid exactamente según lo prescrito por su médico. Tome este medicamento con comida o justo después de una comida, por lo general dos veces al día. Si usted está tomando este medicamento para prevenir coágulos después de un implante de stent, por lo general se toma con la aspirina para un máximo de 30 días.
Precauciones
Antes de tomar Ticlid debe hablar con su médico si usted tiene sangrado o coagulación de la sangre, la hemofilia, la úlcera de accidente cerebrovascular, el estómago, colitis ulcerosa, colesterol o triglicéridos elevados, enfermedad hepática, enfermedad renal. Este medicamento puede causar mareos. No conducir o realizar tareas que requieran estar alerta. Limite las bebidas alcohólicas. El alcohol puede aumentar el riesgo de sangrado en su estómago o intestinos. No tome aspirina u otros no esteroides anti-inflamatorios no esteroideos (AINE). Evite los deportes o actividades que podrían resultar en una lesión de sangrado o moretones.
Contraindicaciones
Usted no debe tomar Ticlid si tiene sangre o trastornos inmunológicos (púrpura trombótica trombocitopénica, anemia aplásica, neutropenia agranulocitosis,), grave o hemorragia activa (por ejemplo, úlceras gástricas sangrantes), enfermedad hepática grave. Dígale a su médico si está embarazada o dando de lactar.
Posibles efectos secundarios
Busque atención médica de emergencia si usted tiene diarrea, malestar estomacal o dolor, náuseas, vómitos, mareos, sangrado de encías o la nariz, dolor de garganta, debilidad, entumecimiento, cambios mentales o de humor, dolor abdominal, cambios en la cantidad de orina, erupción cutánea, picazón, hinchazón de la cara, lengua, garganta, dificultad para respirar, heces con sangre, sudoración, palidez, ictericia (coloración amarillenta de la piel o los ojos), dolor en el pecho, síntomas de la gripe, llagas en la boca, zumbido en los oídos. Si usted nota otros efectos no mencionados anteriormente, póngase en contacto con su médico.
Interacciones con otros medicamentos
Dígale a su médico acerca de todas las medicinas que usted use, especialmente: aspirina, anticoagulantes (warfarina, heparina, enoxaparina, dalteparina), clopidogrel, dipiridamol, medicamentos anti-inflamatorios no esteroideos (celecoxib, ibuprofeno, indometacina), antiácidos, cimetidina, digoxina, teofilina , medicamentos anticonvulsivos (fenitoína, felbamato, carbamazepina). La interacción entre dos medicaciones no siempre significa que usted debe dejar de tomar uno de ellos. Dígale a su médico sobre todos los medicamentos, sin receta médica, y los medicamentos a base de hierbas que esté tomando.
Dosis omitida
Tome la dosis que olvidó tan pronto como sea posible. No tome la dosis olvidada si es hora para su próxima dosis. No tome más medicina para alcanzar la dosis pasada.
Sobredosis
Si usted piensa que ha tomado mucho de la medicina busque ayuda médica de emergencia a la vez. Los síntomas de sobredosis son sensación de frío, sangrado inusual, dificultad para respirar, pérdida del equilibrio o de coordinación, convulsiones.
Almacenaje
Guarde el medicamento a temperatura ambiente entre 59-86 grados F (15-30 grados C) lejos de la luz y la humedad. No guarde los medicamentos en el cuarto de baño. Mantenga todos los medicamentos fuera del alcance de los niños y las mascotas.
